We looked for a cheap alternative to staying in Manchester City Centre for a Saturday night. Was very impressed, the hotel is great value and the staff are really great. Couldn't knock the room. Would come back

Excellent location and always a pleasant stay. Staff are good and in particular the steak is always amazing. So thanks to Tom and Connor in the kitchen for doing a great job. Rooms are pleasant and always clean. I will keep going back whenever I’m at Birchwood.

Hotel was fine, rooms a little dated. Fitness room is fine, treadmill and light weights etc. Food was average. However, the waitress Liley was fantastic, attentive and very helpful. I'm here because of work, I'll stay again because the staff are so good. If the hotel and facilities matched the enthusiasm of some of the staff, their would be a great hotel. Anyone from Pentahotel reading, Liley deserves a raise!
