Villa Nicolli Romantic Resort - Adults Only

This hotel was better than most 5 star properties. No detail was missed from deluxe suite with balcony overlooking vineyards, impeccably clean, most attentive staff, amazing breakfast and dinner at their restaurant, and the town on Lake Garda in the mountains has stunning beauty.

The hotel good not do enough to make our stay as restful as possible. It was booked for us by our daughter and they welcomed her and her husband at dinner one night and arranged for free parking for their car on occasions when we walked into nearby Riva. Exceptionally quiet hotel with magnificent views from our balcony.

First time in Italy, picked a brilliant place,friendly staff. Clean throughout. Excellent breakfast buffet,loads of choice. Amazing mountain view from our balcony. Will definitely come back again next year.

Very nice hotel, everything well maintained, comfortable rooms with good air conditioning and friendly helpful staff. Restaurant serves an excellent breakfast with a huge choice of quality ingredients. Food with the half board option was always freshly prepared and a new menu each evening, typical Italian four courses with three choices for each. Do cater very well for gluten free diets adjusting each dish on the menu with no fuss. Well positioned in quiet area of Riva but very close to the lake and town centre.

Oh my goodness. This hotel is superb. Amazing food, really caring staff and very clean. We have just returned from a perfect week and already want to return. Perfect breakfast everyday and lovingly cooked four course meals in the evening. Enjoyed a swim every day in the outdoor pool as the weather was really warm during our stay. The hotel ran like clockwork and all the staff went the extra mile.

Just returned from a lovely stay at Villa Nicolli. The room. We were actually given a room upgrade to a renovated room, which was lovely, although the bathroom perhaps still hasn't been upgraded as it's in a totally different style. Dinner We were half board, which was handy as it's a bit of a walk out of town and when you're exhausted at the end of a day walking it's nice to just head down for dinner. I wouldn't normally go for half board as I prefer to seek out new places and if the food is bad then you are stuck with it. This wasn't a problem though on the whole as the food was really good quality. You have a choice from 3 starters, 3 primi, 3 mains and 3 desserts. We only managed all 4 courses once though! I've taken a point off as the veggie options were limited and the non veggie often contained crustaceans. But that's a minor point really. Breakfast. Breakfast is the jewel! Absolutely fantastic selection, including fresh from the hive honey that I am missing already! Location. Nicolli is a walk out of town, 10-15 mins, and in a quiet residential area. You are close to some of the bus stops that are useful, but not all. This didn't bother us as we were happy to walk to what we needed, but it is worth knowing about if strolling around the hotel area is something you like to do. Hotel. The hotel and staff are really lovely. The pool and garden areas are really well maintained. The staff can't do enough for you. We went to the south to stay for a couple of nights to explore there, but we found we really missed Nicolli! We LOVE that it's adult only and we LOVED that there was no tacky entertainment in the evening. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing break in Riva and don't mind the walk into the centre.

We had a wonderful week at Hotel Villa Nicolli. As other people have said, the staff are wonderful and very friendly. Special thanks to Ignatio, Juliano and Maura. The hotel rooms are spacious and very comfortable- or at least ours was. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is perfect if you want a quiet relaxing break in a tranquil setting. I hired one of the e bikes which was fantastic. Lake Garda is beautiful and Riva is also lovely and there are lots of wonderful things to see and do. All in all highly recommended.

Villa Nicolli has one of the best staffs we have ever met in our holidays in Europe. As soon as they realised we were happy to enjoy ourselves they responded with running jokes every day. Special mention of waiters Giuliano and Nicola, maitre d Ignacio and bartender Renato. (Sorry if your names are spelled wrong). The staff are a credit to the business. Our comfortable room overlooked a vineyard and great views of the mountains. The breakfast and dinners were delicious, with plenty of choice. We hope to return here in the future.
