Very good facilities, but most of the waiters don't speak English, and the restaurant is a bit awkward for dinner.

Sehr enttäuschend wie sich das Hotel verhalten hat. Wir sitzen seit dem 30.6.24 in Reckingen (VS) fest da die Strassen nicht passierbar sind und können nicht ins Tessin! Es wären 3 Nächte geplant gewesen und eine müssen wir dennoch bezahlen!

I first wrote a review on this lovely little hotel in autumn 2021 and remarked that we would return to the hotel if ever in the region again. Fate has it that we have been back to and through the Ticino region of Switzerland again every year since and have returned to the Hotel La Tureta a further five times. This speaks for itself, I believe. La Tureta obviously suits us very well, the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the hotel, comfort of the beds and good food at their restaurant. No frills, but very appealing. We have made a point of planning our route to be able to stay at La Tureta, the only drawback being that we have never had the opportunity to stay longer than one day/night, much to our regret. But we will continue to return and recommend this delightful hotel to anyone in the Bellinzona region.

siamo stati a cena con degli amici, nella sala sotto il ristorante, la sala è bella, il prezzo è altissimo, il cibo è sotto la sufficienza, chiaramente rispetto al prezzo! Nello stesso tempo noi viviamo in zona, e spesso cerchiamo di poter fare degli aperitivi in questo hotel, ristorante, bar, ma il servizio è scandaloso, sempre in ritardo, non attenti, e anche qui i prezzi sono molto alti, non capisco come non riescono ad avere più attenzione alla clientela locale, in quanto stiamo parlando di posizioni geografiche dove è importante mantenere la clientela . Sono dispiaciuto che qui a Giubiasco, un hotel, che se definisce 4 stelle, si venga trattati in questo modo! Non credo che andremo più a mangiare a queste condizioni e anche sarà uno degli ultimi aperitivi che abbiamo fatto, lo sconsiglio vivamente !!!!

We spent one night here on our way back from Italy. Experienced a nice reception - even before we arrived in person. Also parking was reserved on request. The house is well restored, clean, quiet and lies next to the center of Giubiasco with supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries all around. It must be even more charming in the summer or winter season. We enjoyed the stay as well as the breaktfast-buffet.

Very nice hotel with professional and friendly staff and good restaurant. We had to extend our stay and were easily accommodated. We will definitely be back! The hotel is in a midsize town in southern Switzerland, and is close to nearby sights and restaurants.

Great location and good value. Quiet and comfortable room. Friendly personal. Great breakfast with local homemade delicacies. We really liked our stay and enjoyed the small village of Giubiasco. We got a great deal with Hotel Card. Parking is available too.

Actually a nice hotel, but a few things bothered us. A supposed upgrade, which was certainly well-intentioned, turned out to be more of a downgrade. We were given a room with sloping ceilings in the attic. Unfortunately, the sloping ceilings were above the bed. I hit my head several times when I got up because the sloping ceilings are very deep. We didn't like the evening meal at all. The plates for the starters were dirty on the edges. But we noticed this a little too late and didn't feel like arguing. The pasta a la carbonara wasn't particularly good. Hunger and tiredness drove it down. The sauce had nothing to do with carbonara. Only afterwards did we notice that we had been charged for the three espressos we had that morning, even though breakfast was included.
