Elgano Guest House

I really enjoyed my stay overall. The location was fantastic—on a beautiful street—and the hotel building itself is stunning. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by a very kind Italian gentleman, which gave me a great first impression. My room, though located in a separate area, was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. Everything looked fresh and well thought out. However, I was disappointed to find visible stains on the bed sheets. While I believe they had been washed, the stains hadn’t come out and the sheets were still used, which didn’t match the high standard the rest of the hotel presented. I think they should have replaced them. Another minor inconvenience was the bathroom light, which was automatic and triggered the extractor fan. This meant that even during the night, using the bathroom caused the noisy fan to stay on for a while, which could’ve been avoided with a manual light switch, in my opinion. Despite these issues, the stay was mostly very positive, but I can’t give a full five stars because of the sheets. Hopefully this can be improved for future guests.

Wonderful! Small but cosy room, good cleanliness and very friendly, helpful and service-minded staff. Big pillows, comfortable bed. Free WiFi. Would have loved breakfast facility but didn't miss it much as the overall stay is great.

Absolutely fab time st Elgano, sparkling clean and spacious comfy room. Alfredo was super gracious host in restaurant and all staff were really friendly and looked after me being a solo guest. Highly recommend staying at this hotel and I will be sure to stay again. Thank you!

Highly recommended a stay Absolutely fantastic stay, sparkling clean and spacious room, stayed in the coach house, well maintained and comfy room. Had food in restaurant and Alfredo was a gracious host. All staff very friendly and looked after me being on my own. Will definitely be staying again and going to visit restaurant.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, the room was well furnished and comfortable.

The Inn is quaint, clean and the restaurant downstairs is a nice bonus. Parking was a challenge. It's a busy area and nearby street parking was not available. Pay parking is a 7 minute walk away and costs 25£ for overnight. Something to keep in mind if you are driving.

Elegant Very nice hotel. Clean comfortable ensuite with shower. No bath but I'm great with that..
