Really happy with our stay at this Hampton Inn. We were attending an event at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino so I was horrified when I first saw the $400+ rates for that weekend within San Bernardino & was grateful to find a great deal in comparison at this Hampton Inn in downtown Riverside. I was also extremely thankful for the amazingly fast service I received at check in -- the front desk guy literally got me all checked in in 2 min -- since we were running a little late for our event after hitting traffic on the way down from Monterey.
I can't really think of any cons we encountered, but other pros include: hotel parking was within their own security-watched lot behind a gate so we didn't have to worry about our car or anything in it, mini fridge AND microwave in our room, super comfortable bed/pillows, noon checkout!

Wonderful hotel, clean good food and friendly staff. Sheetal was amazing. Breakfast was on time, hot food was hot and cold was cold. Everyday was something different I really appreciate that as I stayed a few days. The room was spacious and clean. Microwave and fridge were nice to have and the large bottles of body wash and shampoo were awesome as well. Great lounge to hang out in. Will come back

It was a l7 Hour Drive. So when I check in at the front desk.. I needed help with luggage, they did not have any luggage racks to carry my luggage up to my room. Once I got to my room, my room smelt like cigarette smoke. I call the front desk and I told the lady my room smell like cigarette smoke was this a smoking room she insured me that it wasn’t. I told her it’s impossible. This room smell like cigarette. She wanted me to gather up all of my things my 3 luggage and come all the way back down without some sending someone to carry my luggage I was extremely tired. I said forget it. I spray my perfume all in the room to try to cover up the cigarette smoke. It did not do the trick, but I was so exhausted so I put up with the smell, and I could not hardly sleep. Other than that, it was neat and clean, except for the horrible smell of cigarette .

Did not disclose parking charges when I booked (that should be illegal). Need to re-do my entire expense report (thanks). Double charged me for parking, and 4 calls later, charge still not reversed on my CC. Walls and floors/ceilings inside room were really thin. Woke up by noisy neighbors several times during the night. Will not return to this property.

Overall great however the cleanliness needs to be taken alittle serious for the amount of money paid for a room .
