The Singer Oceanfront Resort Singer Island, Curio by Hilton

It was a super clean hotel but nothing nearby to do and nothing to do at hotel. The pool was too cold, bikes didnt work, canoes not available and bad customer service they ignore you and chit chat with each other. I was so bored every thing at restaurant was a la carte only over $100 for breakfast no drinks. Everyone is so rude. Pool closes at 8 pm they expect you to go to bed at 8 pm? The housekeeping wakes you up at 7 am every morning knocking at your door every 5 minutes telling u to get out so they can clean? Am i not in vacation? Never again!

Perfect location for a quick getaway. Renovations were underway, but it never interfered with our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beach area was well maintained.

I came here for a work trip, and when I say I met the best people ever I am not kidding. Every single soul was so kind, the workers, the guests, and everyone in between. The Singer was truly an incredible experience I will never forget!!!!! Everything you ever need is right there at your doorstop. The pool, the beach, an awesome restaurant, and a beachfront bar. Incredible. Kelly, Noel, and Gilbert were all absolute gems. Could sit and talk to them for hours. They were attentive, chatty, kind, and amazing at what they do. They truly made the whole experience. Could not recommend more!!!!

⸻ The hotel is a small, newly renovated property with beautiful décor and a welcoming atmosphere. We stayed in Room 416, which features two queen-size beds. The beds themselves were comfortable; however, the pillows had an unpleasant odor that detracted from the overall comfort. The shower experience was inconsistent, with very low water pressure and fluctuating temperatures. At times, the water would turn cold mid-shower, requiring a wait for it to heat up again, which caused delays in our schedule. The balcony is quite limited in space and only suitable for standing. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and personable, contributing to a pleasant overall interaction. The beach access and pool area were enjoyable, although they may feel somewhat small on busier days. Dining was a mixed experience. Caretta Caretta restaurant was overpriced relative to the quality of the food, which was disappointing for both myself and my family. The beach food options were satisfactory. However, The Market stood out positively—the caramel cappuccino, lemon cake, and breakfast croissants were all excellent. Unfortunately, housekeeping did not meet expectations. The bathroom floors and toilet were not properly cleaned, and I had to address this myself. Surfaces such as the mirror and counter appeared to have been minimally wiped, and I was uncertain whether the pillowcases had been changed. The lobby area is quite small, and during rainy days, there are limited on-site activities available. Overall, while the hotel offers appealing aesthetics and friendly staff, improvements in housekeeping, dining quality, and amenities would significantly enhance the guest experience.

We had a nice stay at The Singer Oceanfront Resort. The Rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool and patio are a highlight and the restaurant was very good. The property is walkable to beach bars, restaurants and shops. The only thing missing was a luggage rack in the room. You will need your keycard to go to the outside bar and back to the pool which is difficult when juggling drinks so take someone with you.

The Singer exceeded my expectations in almost every way. I loved the vintage vibe of the building, and the renovation was very well done - the rooms were lovely and comfortable, the restaurant was great - tasty food, great decor, friendly capable staff. The beach was perfect - loved the inclusion of chairs, towels umbrella and water activities in stay. Beach drink and food services was pretty great as well - probably needed another server at times as poor Gilbert was working hard! The thing that really made the difference for us was the staff - they were uniformly kind, friendly, thoughtful and helpful. From the valets to the front desk to the waitstaff, to the guys on the beach and the room service folks - they really made our stay special. I wish I could remember and name everyone: Percy, Oscar, Gilbert, Taylor and Kevi all come to mind, but that's not everyone! Here are 2 examples: first, my daughter was meeting me at the hotel and her flights were delayed. Oscar made sure that her room service order was the last one in for the night and had it packaged to stay warm and delivered to our room while I was out collecting her from the airport so she had a hot meal when she finally made it to the hotel. Then, Kevi gave us complimentary late check out the next day so that we didn't have to hurry out after the rocky night before. I didn't realize when I booked it that it was considered a 4-star hotel - that makes the experience make more sense. To that end, I guess I would have just a couple of recommendations: first, I agree with other reviewers that the price for self-parking is unreasonable. I get it for valet, but not for self parking. Also, having a complimentary water station in the lobby - like with some lemon/cucumber - would go a long way. (there are water stations on each floor to refill the reusable water bottles which i great but this would be a lovely way to welcome people in and make a nice addition throughout the day). I also think - and this is really knit-picky - the lobby could be set up a bit better, with some rugs and better separation of seating areas and maybe some more homey touches. It felt stark. But really, those are small suggestions - we had a wonderful time and would come back in a heartbeat!

The service, the food and the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. From the pool attendants like Josh to the amazing bartender. Jody, they made my wife and I stay perfect. Carly at the pool was a huge help when I couldn't open a towel holder lol. I'm a Hilton honors member for quite a few years and this will definitely be a resort that I will be looking to come back to. PS Jody, the bartender is absolutely amazing. Great drinks, great attitude and a great person.
