Al Masem Service Apartments Olaya District - Exit 5

I rented the hotel for two nights but only stayed for one because I had an early flight and we decided to go sightseeing instead of sleeping there. There was a horrible tobacco smell in the room, so much so that the clothes I washed and dried with a drying rack and the air conditioning (because it was only a washing machine, not a washer-dryer) ended up smelling entirely of tobacco! They gave me a spray to combat the smell, which, of course, didn't work. In the kitchen, there were only 3 forks, 2 knives, and 2 plates. The washing machine stopped working after the second wash. The kitchen sink had no filter, so things could easily fall down the drain. The room was old and run-down. Even my daughter asked me to spray perfume on the sheets. The bathroom was tiny; the sink was outside the main bathroom area, and when you showered, everything got wet. For the other bathroom, you had to shower quickly because the hot water tank was only big enough to wash your feet and head. In summary, this hotel shouldn't cost more than $70 a night. I hope the hotel manager can issue a full refund because staying there was an ordeal. The night receptionist was very kind and always tried to help, but it was impossible to fix these issues.

Worth the experience.

The price/performance ratio is okay, suitable for business trips. Friends who have high requirements for the environment and accommodation conditions should choose other options. If it is a business trip, it is okay for two people to stay. They provide breakfast in the room, but it is a very simple local breakfast, not suitable for Chinese stomachs, but there is a Chinese restaurant not far away. The transportation is OK.
