Right on the marina which is the only plus. Fast check in but the guy didnt even help with the bags! Our room was on a second floor (stairs) and we had kids!! Room are big. Mattress horrible, too soft which sends you to the middle! The bed only had an inside cotton blanket so we had to ask for bigger blankets. 7:10 am drilling in the building… Really??? Looking fwd to be on the charter right away!!

Beware of weekend evenings. Bar across the Marina is Very Loud - starting at 8pm and gets louder by the hour until after midnight. Impossible to sleep - even with headphones. Hotel is not fancy but it is very convenient to get on your charter boat. I will skip the convenience next time for sleep.

Dans l’attente de notre départ pour une croisière à la voile sur un bateau Moorings, nous avions choisi de dormir une nuit à l’hôtel proposé sur la base, afin de nous reposer du décalage horaire depuis l’Europe. Accueil froid se limitant à la remise d’une clé. Chambre défraîchie, matelas défoncé, chasse d’eau qui ne fonctionne pas, rideaux sales, et pas d’eau chaude dans la douche! Un repos tout relatif. Des prix totalement disproportionnés en regard de l’offre: 400US$ la nuit! Les plaintes exprimées à la réception nous ont valu des explications fumeuses, mais aucune excuse de la part de l’employée: le service client semble lui être une notion inconnue. En résumé: cet hôtel est une honte de part d’une entreprise de l’envergure de Travelopia, propriétaire de Moorings. 6 ans après le passage de l’ouragan Irma, qui a certainement causé beaucoup de dégâts, il serait grand temps de rajeunir ces chambres! Ou d’en baisser le prix de 50%. Dommage, car la suite de nos vacances à la voile étaient fantastiques.

Serviceable at best. Stayed before our charter the next morning. The best attribute is the convenience as it’s right at the Moorings marina. Our room was clean and that’s all I cared about. Shower was pitiful. Cold and just a dribble like an old man with prostate issues. I mean literally a cold dribble. Barely enough water to get cleaned up. Would I stay here again? Yes because it’s right where I need to be for my charter. Will I enjoy it? I’ll tolerate it because I’ll get a better shower on the boat.

Several things were disappointing. First, the walls were crumbling and mold was on several walls, my bathroom had water on the floor (a lot of water), the curtains were stained and did not close all the way. I was traveling as a single but with friends and staying in this room I did not feel safe as all someone had to do was look in my sliding door. For the amount of money they charge I think they can do much better! Will never stay there again.

The check-in process and check-in staff (Sharan) was great! Room was very comfortable and clean. Bar and pool leave a lot to be desired. Couldn't get certain drinks (bartender indicated she didn't want to make it). Took order for apps and never got the food (but was charged). Eventually came after the meal. Service slow and not good. Pool was dirty and there were never any pool towels. Restaurant staff was good (only had breakfast buffet which was good).

This is the hotel at the Moorings sail base. The restaurant and bar are fine and the food is fine. However, the rooms are hideous, not maintained, and poorly cleaned. Curtains don't cover the windows completely, mold by the entry door, dirty tile, ********** in the bathroom, no safe. We stayed for 2 nights and they never serviced the rooms nor offered fresh towels. It's convenience if you are sailing with Moorings or Sunsail can't be matched but I would never stay here otherwise.

Booked a queen room and received 2 single beds. No hot water in our room and mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom. Advised the front desk of our problems and they assured us we would be compensated. Never heard from anyone. For the price paid this place is a total rip off.

The Moorings Mariner hotel was disappointing for the money and location. We stayed here prior to boarding our charter. The bar service was very slow. The restaurant was nice and service was good given how crowded it was. Unfortunately the gal getting us our drinks kept messing up the order. Food was delicious and hot. Key lime pie was good. There is an excellent coffee shop on site. The rooms are in need of an update. If you need a place to stay before a charter this is a suitable location. Suggest you try one of the local restaurants as there are a few good ones just a short cab ride away.
