Hotel definitely needs renovating. I believe they are in the midst of doing so now. The linens on the bed were grey from being washed so much over the years. Wish the room had had an in-room safe. The highlight of our visit was the lady who looked after the breakfast room - ROSE. Hilton should change the name of the hotel to 'Roses Place'.

This Hampton Inn is no longer new. Carpet in our room was filthy, rest was clean enough. However my complaint is that they've charged my credit card $522 for a room that was advertised at $168 on Trip Advisor. I've been told that the $286 charge will be refunded, but that may take up to 30 days. The room cost $236, and a $50 damage deposit was added when we checked in. Then the $236 charge was made when we checked out. I don't recommend staying here unless you have money to spare and don't mind filthy carpeting. Also, the building is under construction or renovation, so might be noisy during the day--we didn't stay long enough to find out.

Loved the location of the hotel. Right off the I-95. Breakfast was exceptional and very clean. Staff are very nice. Only thing I didn’t like was the carpet it looked old and dirty and the dark brown dirty ish bed boards. Aside from that I loved it

This hotel went above and beyond for us. We arrived at 6am (we were supposed to be there by 3am). The manager was called and we explained why we ran late. We were supposed to be out by 11 AM. However, she said we could stay until 3 PM because we hadn’t slept. A few hours after getting to our room, I became sick. I called downstairs and asked if there’s anyway that we could stay in additional night the clerk checked and said it was absolutely fine. The continental breakfast that they serve was wonderful. All the employees were very friendly I will definitely, go back there when traveling between Maryland and South Carolina as this was our halfway point.
