Hotels Near 7-Eleven in Rochester

Rochester doesn't have a lot of good hotel options in the immediate vicinity, and the hotel I used to use has since went downhill and re-flagged as a bottom-tier budget brand. So, during my most recent visit to the region to visit family, I had to expand my search radius to find a place to stay for the night before I flew back home. That search led me to the Hampton Inn & Suites in Henrietta. It's located in a busy commercial area with plenty of restaurants, stores, and Marketplace Mall within easy reach. The hotel is typical Hampton Inn, which is exactly what I wanted for this brief overnight stay - clean, comfortable, and modern, with no unpleasant surprises. Pleasant surprises, however, are welcome - like being upgraded to a king suite due to my need for a tub/shower combination in the bathroom. I very much appreciated that, even if it was just myself for the night. My suite, 442, is typical of Hampton Inn & Suites and their suite units - sofa and upholstered chair on one side of the room, with the bed on the other. In the middle is a long desk/table which separates the two areas. There's a swivel-mount TV mounted above the desk which can be angled to face either the bed or the sofa. There's a wet bar with microwave and refrigerator as you enter the suite, with the bathroom and vanity area next to the bedroom. The suite was very clean and everything was in good working order. The upholstered chair and desk had some cosmetic wear, but nothing major. The TV was on the old side, but in the morning I noticed brand new TVs in boxes being delivered to the hotel, so that will soon be a moot point. One note: If you order food delivery, you'll have to come down to the lobby to pick it up - delivery drivers can't drop it off at your door. The hot breakfast buffet is up and running, and there's a nice-sized breakfast room. I still chose to take mine back to my room, for obvious COVID-related reasons. Hotel staff was very professional and friendly, and once again I have to thank them for the suite upgrade. And they have an airport shuttle, so proximity to the airport itself wasn't a concern. I don't visit the area more than once or twice a year, but the Hampton Inn & Suites in Henrietta is now my go-to Rochester hotel whenever I do visit. They offer clean, reliable lodging with a friendly and professional staff. With their airport shuttle service, it's also an excellent alternative to the less desirable hotels located at the airport.

Rochester's cost-effective hotel. Very new and clean, the room is big enough, there is an oven to get something to eat. It is very close to the high-speed entrance and it is very convenient to drive out.

After being unhappy at another chain location, I switched from my usual brand and joined Radisson Rewards for this booking, with a great rate. Arrived here from ROCHESTER International Airport by LYFT ride, not knowing how long I would be staying, or what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Located in a nice area, on busy Route 31, Monroe Ave , East of the city, but still close to all major attractions, like GeorgeEastman House, Memorial Art Gallery, Highland Park, Rochester Museum and Science Center, by car, also on city bus routes. My comfy accessible room is roomy and restful, with a King bed and roll-in shower, many safety bars in bathroom. There is a window unit for climate control , Microwave and fridge in my room, and a 40 inch flat screen TV that has a sharp picture with premium channels. Room and lobby WIFI works well., except with my Apple phone. Cozy family reading area with adult and children's books and a single computer/printer business center in lobby. I was happy to find a small coin operated laundromat and a tiny gym, with two machines. Amenities include a very good hot and cold breakfast served in lobby, with 24/7 refreshment and coffee/tea bar. Spunkmeyer cookies at desk, a small convenience store for essentials, including frozen entrees. Smoke free premises, however there is an outside seating area, with wooden Adirondack chairs and a fire pit for smokers. Four Electric car charging stations make this a great location for modern savvy travelers who care about the environment. Coffee-Tea stations in room and lobby were well stocked. The diverse cheerful and helpful staff keep all common areas very clean; all of them are very helpful and accommodating . I enjoyed conversing with International guest clientele in several languages, including Japanese tourists. With rewards member rates, its a great deal and price point. Ethnic restaurants and shopping nearby, including Pittsford Plaza and Eastview Mall . I recommend this hotel to all traveler friends in this area, and beyond, including my 50,000. travel chat buddies on Facebook, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, without hesitation. My wife and I stay at this location in Rochester when we go to visit family (about 2-3 times a year). Our stays have always been exceptional, even during the Covid pandemic, during which time Covid restrictions were explained up front at check-in. There are a few employees that recognize us, and spend a few minutes talking with us. Associates at the front desk are always accessible, and address any concerns that we might have, even if it’s just telling them that the coffee urn in the lounge is empty. I’ve noticed that everyone, including maid service staff and maintenance workers always seem to be in a good mood, and interactions among associates is always pleasant. Rooms are clean and comfortably arranged. The pool and exercise room are clean and an adequate size. Morning breakfast is always stocked, with a selection that would satisfy most diets. I have no negative comments whatsoever about this location.

we normally stay here when in the area for work as it is an excellent location and near the interstates. the airport is about 6 miles away so not truly an airport hotel but close enough that is is not to far a stretch. the rooms are updated and clean. the hotel is quiet and the staff are excellent from the front desk to the lounge to the housekeepers. i highly recommend this Marriott if in the area.

The hotel staff always make us feel welcomed and ensure our stay is as pleasant as possible. My son has to come out to Rochester every few weeks to the hospital and we always stay at this location. Not only for the conscience of it but because the accommodations and staff are amazing.
