Second visit to this property. The first was great but this trip was not.
Broken toilet. Toilet couldn’t be flushed and ran all night. Annoying.
No hot water. Despite running the water for 15 minutes there was NO hot water in the morning.
I mentioned both to the front desk upon checkout and since I booked via a third party they didn’t offer jack!
Very disappointing!

I experienced the best service - at the hotel and the restaurant in the hotel - that I have encountered in many years. Kind and generously responsive. This is a very welcoming place. It is also a gorgeous old inn, with modern updates. (Bed was great.)

I found it interesting to stay in this historic building. Much of its former opulence is gone, and the bedroom I stayed in was basic, but had more character than the chain hotels. I was clean, quiet, and adequate to my needs. The staff were welcoming, and after a drive through a snow storm to get there I was grateful for a warm, safe room and easy parking. Breakfast offerings were virtually non-existent, but there was a restaurant ("Spot Coffee") that was an easy walk away.

I really love old places like this... It super comfortable and convenient. I'd had a long week so having a good restaurant on site, on site parking & a very comfortable room made this a very pleasant stay. Good value for money. Highly recommended

We loved the location and historical nature of the property. One thing that stunk but could easily have been remedied was that we only had one pillow in a king bed. By the time we realized though, it was just too late to bother calling for one.
