The hotel is very convenient to the hospital, about a 10-minute walk away, and the entire journey is indoors.

Left a bad taste. Hotel is being renovated, specifically, the tile floors are being removed today by a handheld jackhammer. You can hear it throughout the hotel. I asked for late checkout, front desk said "no." I said not even an hour, and again was told "no." It would have been nice to know in advance about the construction. Would have been nice if the front desk permitted late checkout. I'm guessing the hotel was less than 1/2 full.

Our room was right next to an exit to the skywalk area. Very noisy. Their guest service site needs to be updated. It showed you could order room service from two restaurants and actually one of the restaurants is permanently closed. The ******* site shows free breakfast which isn’t true. Again guest service site needs alot of updating.

I think this property may very well need more than an update based on repeated visits here and seeing things slide, bit-by-bit. I’m including some photos: window blinds that are broken, threadbare bath towels, sheets that appear to be so old they no longer fit the beds… Housekeeping was also a disappoin**ent: used coffee pods not replaced for two days (we had to ask), used disposable coffee cups not replaced (we had to ask), refuse on the floor by the bed from previous guests not swept before our arrival (finally swept after three days and we had to ask), empty Kleenex dispenser (we had to ask to get more) … Plenty of folks come to Rochester because of Mayo Clinic. I’m sure a good number come because they need medical care/trea**ent. These folks need a clean, comfortable hotel room to return to after their tough days of medical exams or before tough procedures. I wish I had been able to be more positive in this review, but honestly, lots of things need to be addressed at this property.

Comfy bed and pillows, quiet, very convenient to skyway and Mayo, breakfast was great with multiple choices including made to order. Friendly and accommodating staff. We will definitely stay again.
