The desk clerk was a wonderful man. He was very kind and friendly. We watched how kind he was to people as they would ask him questions about everything.

Need to do a better job cleaning rooms…stepped on a piece of granola bar. Dust on towel bar and Kleenex storage box, shoe marks on pullout sofa.

Overall a very nice hotel. The whirlpool was not working which was a disappointment. One very big negative, the pillows were absolutely the worst I have ever experienced.

My husband and I have stayed here many times over the years. The hotel is nothing fancy but generally comfortable. It’s nice to have a separate area with a trundle sofa, desk and mini fridge with sink. Last night’s stay did not live up to usual expectations. Upon entering the room we were greeted with a blast of hot air. The room was an oven. We tried to regulate the temperature but no matter how low we turned down the temperature nothing changed. When we opened the blinds we noticed that the window was already open which means the previous tenant had the same problem. When I checked out, the person at the front desk thanked me and said she would report it to maintenance even though she knew it wouldn’t help me. She didn’t offer to make any adjustments to my bill or offer me any extra Bonvoy points. I have been a loyal Marriott customer for many years and I expect better treatment than that especially since my husband and I lost hours of sleep.

I booked a king bed room and they claimed they didn't have any available at check in....which I did at 3:15 pm in afternoon. I was compensated the cost down to two fill beds, but a king was what I booked.

The location of this hotel to St. Mary's is convenient. It's nice that they have cookies at night. I should have looked more closely at amenities. No kitchen supplies like plates or utensils if you bring in outside food that you would like to microwave. The walls seem a little more thick than the place we stayed last week so that was a plus. Parking is very tight but it is free. The room smelled a little midlewy but that could have been the location near the pool.

Good location for Saint Mary’s Hospital walk right across the street. Free parking. Breakfast was good. Hotel is a little dated but you get what you pay for. They offer a Mayo rate if you have a Mayo appointment but the AAA rate is less if you have AAA. We asked for clean towels and bedding for the trundle bed at 6am and at 9pm we still didn’t get any of it so I had to go ask again and wait for it. I know it’s winter in Minnesota but the driveway in front was a slushy mess for the first two days and needed plowing. I got wet feet just walking to the sidewalk to get to the hospital. There was a sign in the pool area saying the pool was closed but I’m not sure if it was the hot tub or the pool. Like I said you get what you pay for. Could use updating/ maintenance but location makes up for it.

The bed was hard and I could feel the springs and the pillows were flat.
The room was stuffy. The curtains hung over the vents so the cool air went under the curtains onto the window rather than out into the room.
No hair dryer.
Front desk took my credit card but never told me there was a 20.00 hold.
No introduction to how the breakfast works and what amenities were available.
