Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rochester North Mayo Clinic

It was a nice motel but the reason why I rated cleaning poorly was because I found hair in the towels. The hair was not mine and I didn’t touch the towels and some concerns about the ceiling pictures are shown in the pictures. Overall experience was good!

Nice location right in Rochester. I was only driving through, but there's a bunch of shops and restaurants near by to pick up food. The facilities were clean.

Staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok. Good location. Close to restaurants & shopping. Beds were hard. Air/heat unit squeaked off & on all night. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned, very sticky.

Decent hotel for the price. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good - basic food like cereal, yogurt, muffins, biscuits/gravy, waffle griddle, etc. Bed was comfy. Has convenient shopping nearby with a Kwik Trip, Target, and Mall.

Returned from Mayo and needed a wheelchair. The hotel had one but the rubber was off of both wheels and it only had the metal rims. As I passed the manager at the desk I mentioned to her that the wheelchair rims were broken, without looking up she said "we are not in the wheelchair business", and went about doing whatever she was doing with no further comment. Unfortunately, she was only bad experience I've had during my several stays at this hotel.

Everyone I encountered was very friendly, kind and helpful. I had a very pleasant stay. As a solo female, I felt very safe and secure. The hotel and room were both clean and comfortable. The courtesy shuttle was great and easy to utilize. The location, price and included breakfast were perfect for my medical trip.

I recently stayed at the Microtel, Rochester, MN a hotel that I have stayed at on several occasions Tue 04/28/26 - Fri 05/01/26. My trip was for a medical procedure at Mayo Clinic which resulted in the amputation of several toes. Upon my return from the hospital I needed a wheelchair. The hotel had one, but all of the rubber was off of both tires and it rode on the metal rims. As I passed the reservation desk I mentioned to the manager that the wheels were broken. Without even looking up she simply said "we are not in the wheelchair business." No other comments end of conversation. Unfortunately I have no other issues with the hotel and encountered no other problems. Needless to say I will no longer be staying at the Microtel

Last minute trip to Rochester, there was a couple events in town so most places were booked up. I used my Wyndham ap and fond micro tel and it had availability for my first night so I took a chance and booked here. It turned out to be super clean and they were able to get me in the other two nights, so I’d definitely recommend and or stay there again.

Location of the Hotel was excellent. The Staff were very friendly. The room was updated for the most part. The only reason I gave the hotel 4 stars instead of 5, was because the bathroom could use some updating. The beds were VERY COMFORTABLE! The price was fair. Quiet atmosphere.
