Property Description

Welcome to Trails Head Cabin! Located on a quiet dead end road, this cabin sits at the head of the Neversink River Unique Area and offers activities such as hiking, fishing and hunting. My wife and I have fully renovated the inside of the cabin, and have begun to update the exterior. A five minute drive to Resorts World Casino and Holiday Mountain Ski and Fun Park. A twenty-five minute drive to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (sight of the 1969 Woodstock Festival). See you soon! Other things to note: Please respect our non-smoking policy. Absolutely NO smoking of any kind is allowed in the cabin. A $200 charge will be applied if you do smoke inside to cover the additional cleaning costs. No Drugs or illegal activity. No Smoking or vaping. No incense or candles. We always like our guests to know ahead of time that there is mild to moderate vehicle and foot traffic near the hiking trails during the day. As this location has become more and more popular, the individuals who come to hike, bike, fish, hunt, etc. are required to parallel park their cars on the opposite side of the road. However, our property is private and clearly posted, and may only be used by our guests. The cell phone service is very weak when you first arrive at the cabin however, once you are connected to the Wi-Fi you should have capability to call and text. Please note this is a very old cabin, and while there is an efficent mini split unit to heat the space during the winter months, it does not heat like that of an apartment or new construction home (expect a comfortable 70 degrees). NOTE: Any early check-in or late check-out requests are not guaranteed and may not always be available. Please be advised these requests, if available, require an extra fee of $20 per hour.About pets:Pets allowed: limit 3 total.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:One security camera located on the front porch facing the driveway. Came here with my dog and girlfriend to get an escape from the big city. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, cozy, and immaculately clean. The outdoor area is gorgeous with a fire pit readily available for a nice night under the stars. The area itself is wonderful as well, with lots of lakes and nature trails nearby. Brittani was a fantastic host who answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend!

Kitchen had the necessaries, but pots/pans need upgrading. I am sure many do not cook, but over our stay we did need them a couple times.

The cabin was very nice. Spacious and clean. We enjoyed going hiking on the trail and gazing at the stars at night. Def. Look forwards to coming back.

A very warm and inviting home for a getaway close by to NYC. The space accommodates up to 4 comfortably with a furry companion. It’s very clean, stocked with any cook and diningware you need as long as you buy enough food, and has fantastic amenities.We used the fire pit out back, which was a great time to just sit, get warm, and talk all night. The porch has plenty of seating to enjoy some fresh air on a rainy day. Most importantly for us, we were able to walk right up to the start of the trail, the Neversink River Unique Area. Not the easiest trail to complete but well worth the effort to see as much as you can on it.Thank you for sharing your home with us, exactly what we were looking for.

Excellent place. Clean, comfortable, warm. A lot of blankets and pillows :). Sky at night was full of stars you can't see in the city. I really enjoy it and I believe I'll be back
