We wasn’t able to stay bc it’s against policy to stay if you live within 50miles.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was quite acceptable. Now it has completely gone horrible.
The room smelt of some sort of cleaning chemical.
The bath tub did not drain properly.
The fridge was unplugged so it was not able to cool anything for hours. In the past they would always have the fridge running before your arrival. No we had to listen to it running constantly as we tried to sleep.
The bed matress sheet looked as if it had already been slept in.
The breakfast was a disaster. The coffee was only pee warm. The scrambled eggs were cold, there was no toast bread or any type of fresh fruit eg apples,oranges or bananas.
I made a complaint at the front desk re the cold eggs and coffee with no real responce why. He could not even find where the person in control of the breakfast was.
Note we will never stay at this hotel again.

Overall our stay was fine. The beds were comfortable and we couldn't hear other people from inside the room. Definitely not the worst place I've ever stayed, it did the job. But it felt understaffed and dirty. Walls were visibly dirty, there was some kind of spill on the elevator doors that never got cleaned up, the floors were dirty, there were little styrofoam balls all in the pool and around it, half the lights in the pool room didn't work, the hot tub was boarded up, there were no pool towels, the mattress on the pull out couch was stained and thin and had a couple large rips where springs came through. There were other things I could mention, but you get the idea. In general it felt like it had once been nice and has since fallen into disrepair. If I had paid less for it I would've known to lower my expectations and it would've been ok.

When we walked in there was a sign indicating the host was away from the front deck. We waited 10 minutes until she returned. The phone rang and instead of addressing us, she answered the phone first. I was not impressed.
Also, the mini fridge was unplugged and had leaked water on the carpet. The tv remote does not work.
