My happy place! This is my home away from home place. The bungalows are simple, tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Bedding and towels are soft and towels fluffy. Kitchens are adequate and fresh water is supplied - bottle. Come here to see the stars. Come here to relax, be alone, be social or just be. I love it here. Thank you Leslie and Ned See you next year.

Just back to the States after a week at PCBC. This was my fourth visit in past 17 years; one lasting image among many - the state (and evolution) of the property propped atop 400 yards of the sweetest beach & ocean in the Bahams, built and managed by Sir Nedwin III & Ms. Leslie is in epic form. Long morning beach walks, longer evening swims towards Alligator Point, dozing in the hammock with Stuart Woods's latest beach read ;-) - My 7 days riding solo, lodged in a Garden View suite, disconnected from the bells, buzzers, bings & bongs of city life was punctuated only by the sounds of the ocean breeze whistling through the trees and surf lapping up onto the shore. A couple of note: - Transportation: you can take a taxi from New Bight airfield to the beach but may want to consider for shopping/ exploring the island - to rent a car. There is no shuttle service to/from PCBC so for $50//$60 a day could be a smart move for some families. - Food: Kitchens are outfitted to the max in all cottages- but whether you take Taxi or Rental - incumbent upon guests to stop at the local Market on the way to stock the Fridge with beverages, snacks, ice creams, fruit, etc. Ned/Leslie do serve a family style dinner once sometimes twice a week and some breakfast is available upon request, (Coffee at the Free bar every morn) - but it is key to supplement with water and fruit during the day. There are restaurants on the island - Leslie will update hours. - No See-Ums: Good idea to pack a couple of long sleeved t-shirts and lite trousers for after the sun goes down and the little critters sometimes join the festivities around the Bar. Leslie has the property stacked with sprays, lotion sand gadgets to minimize the situation but always good to prepare. PCBC remains better than ever a slice of heaven. The peace & serenity of the property is golden. I will be back. Cheers.

My wife and I stayed at the Pigeon Cay Beach Club recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. The resort is situated on a secluded white sand beach and, with only six units scattered among the numerous trees, feels very uncrowded and relaxed. Our cottage (Winston) was small but had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of privacy, and a patio with a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach was literally just a few steps from the cottage and stretches for over a mile. We seldom saw anyone else on the beach except for Nala and Yoda, the owners' friendly and playful dogs. We appreciated the numerous artistic touches in our cottage and around the grounds, which added to the overall charm and laid-back feel of the Beach Club. The owners, Ned and Leslie Kennedy, were friendly and helpful hosts who made us feel very welcome and insured that we had everything we needed. Two things to be aware of are that mosquitoes and sand flies are present at times, and that the facility is largely self-catered. We brought plenty of bug spray and we like to cook, so neither of these were big issues for us. Overall, this is a great place, and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Sitting in chilly Massachusetts the morning after returning from a beautiful week at Pigeon Cay Beach Club- my bones are cold but my heart if FULL (and my skin is tan lol) and I'm feeling compelled to share our experience with other fellow travelers. Note- this place is located on an extremely quiet island that takes effort and keen planning to get to- this is not for those looking for any sort of 'all-inclusive' trip with lots of convenient activities- however it was EXACTLY what my husband and I were looking for to take a short break from the cold New England winter. From easy booking and clear communication on travel tips to making us feel right at home, Lesie and Ned were the perfect hosts! We are vegan and enjoy cooking our own meals on vacation so Lesie's suggestion to stock up on groceries (including produce!) before arriving was key. We got everything we needed at Solomon's on Nassau (including vegan cheeses, milks and alternative meat products- just like in the states)- note filtered drinking water is provided in the cabins. They provided a large box that we were able to check for out flight to Cat Island. Leslie even procured some local dairy free muffins and biscuits during our stay which was extra sweet. Kitchen was fully stocked- including SHARP kitchen knives- this is something that is often overlooked in most rentals- but tiny details such as this really made our trip even better. Ned and his amazing kitchen team created a delicious meal one of the nights with a vegan version just for us, which we enjoyed family style with the other guests- who were all delightful and have been repeat visitors to this property -some for over two decades! As dog lovers, we often miss our pups back home when traveling- this was thoroughly remedied through the company of the resident pups Nala and Yoda- they were so incredibly sweet (but also protective of the property at night- which was reassuring)- however they were very intuitive and respectful if dogs aren't your thing. The beach was pristine with pink sand and shallow clear blue water with snorkeling spots that you can access via moderate walks, kayaking or a short drive from the property. The cabins are spacious and clean and each have a private view of the beach along with lounge chairs, a hammock and free use of kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel gear. A few things worth mentioning: -there were a ton of 'no-see-ums' and mosquitoes (mostly at dawn and dusk) BUT there was ample bug spray and smoke coils available- as well as ongoing smoke fires (which smelled SO GOOD- like Palo Santo) around the property. As needed antihistamines also helped with the itching- def did not affect our trip in a negative way as this IS a remote tropical island ;) -early mornings and nights can get a bit chilly (at least in Jan)- so def recommend bringing socks, long pants and a sweatshirt- which also helped with the bugs and during stargazing- which was INCREDIBLE!! -we rented a car (which Leslie coordin

Pigeon Cay is a delightful mix of six artistic bungalows of various sizes and bedrooms - each with its own natural stairs down to the beach - which is a perfect swimming crescent of superfine white sand and turquoise water. My daily swim down the beach - Ikm down and 1km back - goes past about 8 houses. The tidal creek behind the club is full of wildlife, we took the club sea kayaks and set in at high tide and rode the tide down the creek past basking sharks, turtles, rays, bone fish, blue herons, and a group of ospreys. Another day we took the club bikes to the Atlantic coast - 4km for the wild surf and co**** pink sand. This was our 8th year coming to Pigeon Cay and each time we find great wildlife, meet interesting guests at the honor bar, and the usual great hospitality from owners Ned and Lesley!

We needed a relaxing getaway and we got it more than we could have expected at Pigeon Cay Beach Club on Cat Island. Owners Ned and Leslie are wonderful and have created a beautiful resort that compliments the perfect beach. Each cottage is unique, beautifully decorated, each with their own beach view. You can’t ask for more but they top it off with their awesome dogs who also made us feel at home. I was the only person on my long beach walks. And the restaurant recommendations were great, we met so many great people and ate some awesome food. We have found a true home away from home, with new family, and can’t wait to return.

We have visited Cat Island since 2002 and keep coming back to Pigeon Cay where we stayed the very first time and just fell in love with it. The Hosts (Ned and Leslie) and their staff are top and have excellent knowledge of the Island. We come here because of the beautiful white sandy beach and Pigeon Cay’s central location to explore Cat island’s nature. We have used their paddle boards and bicycles to go to Alligator Point (snorkeling) or cross over to the North Shore (remote beaches on the Atlantic side). The food (dinner) has always been excellent. We bring most of our own food as the bungalows have a microwave and cook tops are stocked with plenty of kitchen utensils. We love coming here and we always enjoy making connections with fellow travellers. The a**osphere is very relaxed.

This was my second time staying at Pigeon Cay (I was there 12 yrs. ago) and I'm very pleased to see that it has remained untarnished and is still the most peaceful place that I've found in my travels. The water is the most beautiful, clearest, and cleanest water, and it's always a perfect temperature. The sand is also pristine clean and soft as powder. I personally think the water and sand there are the nicest than compared to other areas that I explored around the island. Some of the other great things about Pigeon Cay Beach Club are their bungalows, which are very relaxing and stocked with nearly everything you need, the kitchens have a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, burners, plates, etc.. They also have a some hammocks, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, and a mini library stocked with books. I definitely hope to go back again soon and more often. nearby food: if you want a good meal, under 8 miles away in Bennett's Harbor is Chef Andrew at da Island Kitchen ; call ahead to check on availability ~ dining room 242-354-6003

My husband, sister and I stayed in the Big House for 5 nights in early June 2022. Delightful pups and friendly guests : ) Can’t seem to find the words to describe the beach, it’s the type of beach dreams are made of. Absolutely pristine. The accommodations are great, everything from the layout and the well-stocked kitchen, to the beautiful bathrooms, and lovely covered porch. You can get internet in your cottage for an extra fee, though it is free in the common area. The honour bar is a nice perk, and a great place to get to know other guests. If you are planning on being there during the annual Rake n Scrape festival, you should know that you may not be able to get a rental car. Also, there are limited grocery options handy to Pigeon Cay, so if you plan on eating in, stock up on the way. There are lots of little roadside eateries though, so do go out and enjoy them too. You will need wheels though, as there is nothing within walking distance. I think the staff on site will prepare meals for you, but we did not opt in on this so can’t really comment. Hosts Leslie and Ned fully respect your privacy AND are always available and helpful if you need anything. They helped us with our lack of rental car, and lent my husband a fishing rod, as one of his broke during our travels. If you like a busy night life or bustling beach, then you might be left wanting. For us though, Cat Island is an ideal mix of natural beauty and rural lifestyle, a delight to explore. We will return.
