Trade Winds Inn

The Trade Winds Inn is a joke. We made reservations. Then called the day before to make sure there was no problem with odors and sprays as I’m very allergic to smoke and perfume. We could not get a real person to answer the phone. The answering service must have been in India and it was a recording. We did finally get a person who was not at the hotel but said she would leave a message for the desk clerk. No one called in four hours. We tried to find a phone number for the hotel and saw reviews that were terrible. We were leaving the next day for Rockland so we made reservations at Rockland Harbor Hotel who does have a real person answering the phone and was a great place to stay. When we got to Rockland we walked to the Tradewinds Inn and a person came on a tv screen asking if they could help us. We said we wanted to see a real person. The screen said a person would come see us. No one did. In the meantime we looked around and it was dirty and creepy. We did not get our money back.

Filthy! For the price we paid we expected at least to have hand soap in the bathroom but there were zero toiletries. This place is in need of some serious cleaning and updating!

Property needs some serious updating. I checked in on line and when I got there, needed to check in again and it was very confusing. You could use a kiosk with a "remote" person that had a very hard accent to follow and was very loud so everyone in the waiting area could hear everything that was being asked. My room was clean but very cold and took a long time (many hours) to warm up. Don't think I would stay here again.

The room was very nice. There was never anybody at the front desk you had always have to wait 15 to 20 minutes breakfast was included. There was no practice three days the other days it was very limited. The entrance to our building was always dirty with leaves the floor needed swap, the manager, however, was friendly and apologized for the inconvenience of no breakfast, and that they were remodeling

Okay, first off the service was very good, there was even a very cool robot girl who checked people in. But we go to our wing to see our room, As soon as we walk in it smells like Maryjane and cigarettes, and it was very filthy, We walk up to our room and it is very cramped and many hallways twisting and turning. We are about to get the room and two people who that are clearly on ***** come and talk to us, we’ve heard this is a big problem (get it together). We finally walk into the room and the smell of cigarettes hits me like a train, it’s filthy and smells. There was a creepy earbud on the ground probably listening to us snore. The shower was basically only one temperature and the room looked nothing like on the reviews it was cramped and we thought we’d get a despise because it looked so old we thought there was absetos. There was 3 pillows on one bed like what’re you doing put 4 weirdos. Both of the pictures on the wall was crooked, and the bed was leaning, just clean er up.

Terrible terrible place. Everything is false advertised. If you get confused, look at reviews for Trade Winds Inn…. Yeah it’s the same place. But certain rooms are related to some time share from the 60s…. No breakfast. Lipstick on a pig everywhere you look. Lots of improvements were attended but clearly by the lowest/unlicensed builder. Oh, and as a carpenter, I can tell you these balconies are going to hurt someone. Stringers aren’t even run the correct direction.

No way to contact them. Was sent a text message with door codes to access my room.

I got SCREWED ROYALLY ! Had a personal injury The Morning of booking. In hospital all day. Got the option to pay for room when I arrived Much later in the evening. Gave out the room and DENIED REFUND !
