Only two stars because the rooms are clean, functional and a decent size. Decor is a bit dated, but it works. It's also just across the highway and sidewalk from the beach. If you can find anywhere else go there. There is no point at all in eating at the hotel. The restaurant takes hours, and I mean hours to deliver food. One couple next to us waited two hours for a starter. This wasn't a one off. It was every night because we spoke to people around the pool. 80% of the staff don't care, and they are covered by the 20% who do care. But it is impossible to eat at the restaurant. They also regularly don't have items on the menu. The breakfast is average. You wait a long time for an item ordered from the menu, or you go for coffee that is brown water, processed OJ, and sliced bread or cheap cereal. If you want to stay here, stay room only, and eat elsewhere or go to the Chefette next door for breakfast. Finally, there was no wifi our entire stay. When this was mentioned to reception you got a look like you were something they had trodden on.

The location was convenient to the UN, EU and other business hotels. There are dining options and it is easily accessible.

Stayed at Blue Horizon a couple of times. Staff is friendly and helpful, good customer service. Hotel is centrally located close to beach and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. They seem to be updating and making improvements. Atmosphere was cozy and quiet. Great relaxing vacation in the sun. Shout out to staff! Kimberly and Dane :)

Wonderful staff and good food. Thanks Dane for accommodating our requests. We did some light cooking in room . Facilities are clean , pool is cool and refreshing. We met a lot of other Canadians and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Located accords from Rockley Beach and down the road from the boardwalk it is a great location.

Great value for hbd price of this hotel. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet place steps from the beach and restaurants, this is the place. Don’t believe the negative reviews. Yes it is an older property and the continental breakfast is nothing special, but the savings compared to other nearby properties more than makes up for it. Wi fi was excellent and the pool and staff were good.

Lovely staff cannot do enough for you! However the restaurant was lacking in service and some items like butter for toast were not available for three days! Many visitors complained about the eatery and chose to eat elsewhere of which there are many. We found staff often socializing outside of our room early in the morning waking us. We will not go back as we explored other hotels and found better ones for our value. But again the hotel staff were the best! Too bad the restaurant spoiled it.

Just finishing up a week’s stay in Barbados and the BH hotel. It’s a charming, small hotel directly across the beach and walking to distance to boardwalk/stores. Our 4th floor room (standard category with fridge, kettle but no safe) overlooked the ocean which was an amazing surprise! All around clean hotel and staff are nice and welcoming. Good value for money.

The area is rather convenient , however these rooms are outdated and needs renovation. The dresser was old , the bathroom needs a lift. The staff however very helpful.
