I saw many bad reviews but I took a chance and really wasn't disappointed (4/20-23). I have suggestions/repairs for my room and procedures/training, but overall it was decent (4.5 stars) and I'm a traveler. I think reviews depend on where you stay as there are different 'sections'; I have a feeling that those with bad reviews were in buildings up front. I had a deluxe studio suite in the 400s and it was one of the cleanest rooms I've ever had; when the fridge/microwave are clean, it's a great sign. Of course I still checked the bed, toilet, etc. which were clean. They need new pillows, but the sheets were clean, no bugs, stains, hair (the latter is rare) and the mattress was very comfortable as were the chairs. We didn't see roaches, etc., the curtains are true blackouts :), the fridge/microwave were clean and worked, and the toilet/water closet were clean as well as the sinks, shower, countertops, nightstands, desk, etc. I brought disinfectant, saturated the jacuzzi soaking the jets, filled it with hot water and ran the jets ~15 min. so grime, etc. would be pushed out...after I saw maybe 2 things floating, and I use hospital grade cleaner! No hair/stains on washcloths/towels, though I bring my own, but theirs were handy post jacuzzi and to block air at the door. This room seemed soundproof; that building is 1 story, but we had people next door and didn't hear them (and they didn't hear us!)...that was lovely! WiFi is free, connected quick, was fast and I didn't have any issues. They have plenty of parking, Dove toiletries, DirectTV, a coffeemaker, cups, iron/ironing board. Now I'll speak of the issues I had/my suggestions: the phone didn't work, but we had cells, so they just need to fix that; the door needed to be repaired so it closes properly as we shouldn't have felt outside air coming in and had to use towels to block it (my boyfriend was shocked when I was chilly as that's unusual!) nor seen that much light, and the latch guard wasn't good; we had issues with a key card, but they give you 2; 1 sink wouldn't drain, but we had 2; they should have safes; we had 2 TVs and had problems with 1 until I figured out that the remotes were switched, so problem solved; they need to train all employees on all payment methods, and I have a procedural suggestion. I've recently reported it all to them, am awaiting a response and hopefully repairs/changes occur. FYI, this was my b'day weekend and we're local; know that if it wasn't up to par, we would've gone home!
