The hotel exterior looks very rough.
Staff was friendly.
Lobby & rooms were clean and neat. No phone in the room, even though booklet to âcall 0 for assistanceâ so outdated info & no staff at desk when returned to room in evening to ask questions.
There was a fridge, micro & coffee maker
On hotels.ca it said breakfast was included- it was NOT
No cold water from bathroom faucet- only hot. Tub faucet dripped constantly
We put the Do Not Disturb on our door when we left our room, as we didnât want any one in it when we were not. The 2nd evening we came back after being out for the afternoon to sign off door, fresh towels & all lights off- (weâd left them on b/c the light switch was in an awkward spot & didnât want to come in to darkness as we had the night before) so that was very annoying.

This was the only place with vacancy in Rocky when we booked. We should have slept in the truck. The overpowering (headache inducing) stale cigarette smell drop kicked us in the face before we got in the room. The room was filthy. Stains all over carpet and furniture, grime on all surfaces (tub, sink, doors etc.). The cherry on top was our room key that doesnât even belong to the fricking inn. In no way, shape or form is there any quality here.

A comfortable sleep is all we needed and the bed was excellent. The shower had good water pressure. Our room was clean. It is obviously an older property, so a few wrinkles here and there can be expected. Check-in was quick and the employee was friendly.

The Tamarack is an older motel but it is clean, quiet and affordable. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were in town on a quick visit and enjoyed our two night stay at the Tamarack. We will definitely go back again.

My wife and I have treated ourselves to a stay in the Honeymoon Suite on our Anniversary many times. Sadly this may be the last. To begin, the air conditioner was asthmatic at best. It wheezed out warm air, not cold. On past visits, a bottle of champagne on ice was waiting for usâŚafter all, it is the Honeymoon suite. This visit, just an empty bucket. On to the Jacuzzi. The on-off button was missing. I figured it out and turned it on and was less than delighted to see a greasy brown blob swirling about in the water. Both alarming and unhygienic at the same time. A full hot breakfast is clearly advertised as free n their website, but â30% offâ at the cafe. All in all, a real disappoin**ent.
