Front desk attendant would rather be in a back room playing his games than be available for guests. When I complained about the condition of the room I was treated like a liar.
The shower squealed loudly and there was barely enough hot water making for a bad shower. Toss pillows on the couch we’re torn. Bed skirt so wrinkled it was unrecognizable. Food scraps on the floor beside the garbage can. The carpet so stained and dirty I didn’t want to take my shoes off.
Next morning we left and the same clerk couldn’t figure a refund and seemed uninterested in trying to do so.
Only saving grace is the manager phoned a few hours later to give the refund. Now waiting to see if it actually happens.
