Very nice staff. Hot water takes a bit, but was then alright.
Unfortunately WiFi was completely down, but I had a good book with me.
At 7.30 am you’ll hear traffic but the entire town is built need to a quite busy road.

L’hôtel est très pratique pour visiter l’Algarve tout en étant au calme. L’accueil et le service sont parfaits. La boulangerie à côté qui appartient à l’hôtel est incroyable. Le village d’Aljezur juste à côté est très sympa et il y a d’excellents restaurants de poissons.

We had a very disappointing two night stopover at the Hotel Alcatruz whist cycling along the Rota Vicentina route. The reception was empty when we arrived and when somebody turned up we were not made to feel welcome, more an inconvenience. The room was tiny and not particularly clean and breakfast in the café next door was rather chaotic, a case of getting orders in at the counter in-between the locals getting their morning coffee and pastries. The overall impression is that they do not need to make an effort with hotel guests as the café is always busy and there is a continuous supply of walkers who will stay for one night and move on.

Nos ha sorprendido muy gratamente. Gran calidad y un servicio muy amable y profesional. Repetiremos sin duda. Nos quedamos en un estudio muy amplio. El desayuno también muy bueno. Se encuentra ubicado en la calle principal con lo que tienes cerca abundante aparcamiento y comercios (farmacia, pastelería, supermercado, etc).

Completely overpriced. Old room fit out, broken toilet flush, no hot water, damp room, basic breakfast. We needed a place to sleep but expected more for USD 125 the night.

Ja tinhamos ficado neste hotel ate tinha corrido tudo bem mas desta vez ficamos num quarto no res do chão. Estava mal limpo,cortinas queimadas e sujas,moscas mortas, teias de aranha e para mim o pior foram as almofadas estarem todas com manchas amarelas. Muito mau. E uma pena, pois o hotel ate e giro. E não e assim tão barato para não terem as coisas em condicoes
