I’m not sure why others had a good experience here. Long checkin wait, the front desk person is the only one manning everything at the hotel. Didn’t have time to print a receipt for my associate who paid in cash. Said he could get someone to print him one tomorrow, and to just trust it is marked paid in the system. Deposit for one night was 1.5 times the room rate? No food available. Worst of all I am trying to get some sleep but the room is 81 degrees, the air con doesn’t work, and all I hear is my neighbors alarm clock going off for 5 minutes followed by every move they make getting a shower. With the heat, I guess I couldn’t sleep anyway. At least I can be entertained by the sound of the neighbor dropping things in their room again. Oh great, their alarm is back. Must have been on snooze. Maybe they will address it when they finish their shower. Miserable. Looks like it’s back to Marriott for me, just canceled my return visit layover stop. Maybe it’s just growing pains here, but do yourself a favor and avoid if you want hotel basics like convenience, dining, or a comfortable nights sleep.
