Mangili Garden Hotel

The experience at this hotel was very good. I especially liked the breakfast and the proximity to Borghese Park.

What a marvellous place ; lush garden, proper Roman palazzo, excellent service , hard to find a better place in Roma in this price category

Wonderfull smaller hotell in the quiet neighbourhood of Parioli. Friendly, helpfull staff and lovely clean rooms.

Great convenient location close to historic sites and excellent restaurants.Hotel staff are wonderful, and the hotel is set in beautiful gardens.Breakfast is first class with lots of choice. Definitely a place to return to...

I found this accommodation by accident, and I am so happy I did. If you want to have a very reasonably priced 5-star experience in a beautiful setting, everything looking beautiful in an old villa, then I really recommend Mangili. For example, when did you have breakfast with silvery cutlery, all dishes beautifully set up, in a 3-star hotel? There only 11 rooms which means that they have the time to look after you as their guest. It feels like you are visiting someone in their beautiful home. The location means that you don't have public transport around the corner, but you are close to a wonderful park that has Villa Borghese and the zoo in it. I am pretty sure that you will not be disappointed if you decide to stay in Manigli.

Second time in Rome I stayed for three days and here is my experience: What I liked: 1. Expensive purely residential area, quiet, away from tourist crowds, hilly and green ( Close to Villa Borghese) 2. Accommodation in a beautiful multistorey private villa with beautiful garden 3. Excellent hosts particularly Serena & Laura. Serena offered me a drink when I arrived and Laura arranged the airport taxi and a coffee 4. Super buffet breakfast ( quality and presentation) . One of the three days they offered my an omelette from the kitchen. 5. Room borderline spacious/just right. What I didnt like: 1.I believe I've been given the least privilage room which was No.10 at the semibasement facing the road side. 2.I've mentioned to the reception the reasons I felt like this and I substantiated my complain indicating the pictures in my booking. In the booking it has pictures from all rooms not from a particular room and I could see that there were more privilaged rooms with better decoration and better layout. 3. The reception advised me that I should request a better room in the booking prior to my arrival. 4. Bus 982 that is the only public transport connects accomodation with city centre is not reliable - never arrived whenever I needed it. 5. I love walking but be prepared to walk more than 2KM to reach Piazza Del Popolo or have a hefty amount of money to pay the Ubers. I'd defintely stayed again in this hotel if given a better room. Also, there is no lift so you have to carry your luggage ascending/descending the staircases

Lovely boutique hotel, charming property, delightful and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was beautiful! Walking to Piazza Del Popolo, art museums on the list, and quiet neighborhood.
