The service was terrible from reception to the room service save for the concierge who was excellent. They seem to think it’s ok for you to have to speak to all their different departments to get anything done and there is no APP. The food and the breakfast was, however, amazing. The hall way and garden was beautiful albeit the rooms are a bit
poky and have a musty smell in the shower.

The hardware is full and the environment is excellent.
1. When checking in and paying the deposit, I didn't bring my credit card for personal reasons and it was a UnionPay card, so I could only pay in cash. After I explained the situation, I wanted to pay a 200eur deposit, but the front desk manager said it had to be 400eur, otherwise I couldn't check in. During the period, I asked if I didn't plan to spend money in the hotel and whether it could be accommodated, but it didn't work. Finally, I had no choice but to take out all the cash on me, 405eur, and after paying the deposit of 400eur, I had only 5 euros left... As a result, I couldn't move forward whether I was eating or taking a taxi. Finally, I used the navigation to find an ATM that could withdraw money with UnionPay, which took a total of 40 minutes... We had two rooms here for three nights. It's a new hotel, so everything is still sharp. The lobby setup is a bit strange: you have to weave through couches to get to the front desk. The rooms themselves were beautiful and comfortable. That's where the good ends. The staff are all very aloof. Walking past them every time you come through the lobby felt... judgy. Do not eat here unless it is included. Breakfast will charge a HUGE amount for very little food, and that staff all act like they don't care and would rather be doing anything else. They all act above everyone, including the guests that they are there too serve, and don't provide service. Note: There was a power outage while we were there. As all parts of the rooms run on electricity (including flushing the toilet), this was a bigger issue than it would have been in a more traditional hotel. The hotel offered NO apologies or compensation for the inconvenience, not even as a gold level bonvoy member. Again, huge prices and ZERO customer service. Maybe this is a Rome thing, but we noticed it throughout our entire time in Italy.

Everything about this property was amazing- the conceirge, the people at the restaurant, the bellboys. Everything was top notch. The hotel was very well situated, the rooms were clean, modern and well kept. I would highly recommend people to stay at this property.

Our stay at the Rome Edition was spectacular from start to finish. The design, accommodations, amenities, and most importantly the staff were all top notch. Esmeralda went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provide personalized service. Our suite was extremely comfortable, and the modern design was relaxing and beautiful. The Le Labo black tea products were a special touch. Everything you might need is provided and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating with recommendations and reservations. We had drinks in the exquisite lobby and the Punch Room, both were exceptional with great service and lovely cocktails. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Anima, and the outdoor courtyard is a beautiful oasis amongst the city. Both evenings of our stay we enjoyed the most spectacular sunsets with the best views of the city from the rooftop pool area. We cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay, and if we ever find ourselves in Rome again the Rome Edition will always be our first choice.

Customerservice at its best. Without a doubt the best Hotel in Rome, especially from the Marriott Portfolio. Mister Eusebio, the bellman, made us not only welcome everytime we hit the doorstep of the hotel, but more, welcomed us as a part of HIS Guests. We are definitely returning, not only because of him, but also because of the exceptional service provided by the Front office Team!
