The locatIon isn't everything, but if you are staying for only 4 night in beautiful capital of Italy, it does matters, really. I booked it long time in advance, because it was reasonably priced then. I stayed there from evening of 30.th of April until morning of 4.th of May 2024. To cut the story- all major sites are in walking distance from Hotel: 2-3 minutes Piazza Venezia/Vittoriano, 5-6 Campidoglio, 7-8 Forum and Pantheon, 10 Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona and Trastevere, 15 Fontana di Trevi and Colosseum, 20 or little more Spanish Steps (if you want/can, you could walk to Termini, Vatican and Villa Borghese- they are around half of an hour from Hotel)... When it wasn't walkable, I used public transportation, which is affordable and frequent in that location, or asked for a cab, receptionist organized it- for the same destination (Termini by night, Termini by day), one charged me 20, other 11.50 Euros. I stayed in economy single room, which is small, but good and had everything like in all other rooms in terms of amenities (TV, phone, minibar, safe, bath toiletries). Bed was comfortable. Downsize- lift didn't worked for 2 days; upsize- 4.th floor room facing street have a beautiful view towards top of the Vittoriano monument and Il Gesu church dome. On top of the Hotel is nice rooftop terrace with a bar (and a view). Great breakfast had good selection of foods and drinks. Buffet breakfast, both hot and cold, was served in refurbished cellar. I wasn't in the Hotel except for overnight sleep and breakfast, but I carry positive impressions of the Hotel, stuff, etc. Overall, Hotel Hosianum Palace is in a heritage building, which this year celebrates 450.th year anniversary. Dive in to it, you won't regret it!

I was a bit wary when I arrived alone outside the hotel by taxi, late at night. The facade is covered in scaffolding, and the road it is on is narrow and gloomy. But I needn’t have worried at all. I received a friendly welcome from the front desk staff, including taking time to explain the highlights of the city on a useful map, and then a clean and comfortable room. The following morning it became clearer that the location of this hotel is perfect. The narrow side road meant it was very quiet overnight, but it is easy walking distance to all the main sites in the city centre, including Trevi Fountain - 15 mins in one direction, the Pantheon - 10 mins in the other direction, and just a couple of minutes from Piazza Venezia. A simple breakfast is available in the hotel.
Response from Property: Dear Guest, thank you for your good review

Fantastic location, pleasant helpful staff, 2nd visit and stayed here 7 years ago. Rooms we’re comfortable and clean, close to all the major attractions. Tucked away in a little side street perfect. The rooftop terrace was nice to have a quick drink before going into the town for the evening.

I stayed in this hotel with a friend for 4 nights at the end of March. The staff were very friendly - they arranged pickup from the airport for 60€, and on arrival they showed us all the local areas on a map. Our room was also ready early, which we were super grateful for after an overnight flight. The rooms were cozy - we had a twin room and it wasn’t very big, but the only times we were in were to rest/shower/sleep. They were clean and had everything we needed, so had no issues. Our room was also cleaned room daily. Breakfast was included and had a nice choice and wasn’t ever busy. The location of the hotel is excellent! We were able to walk most places in Rome. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would return if I ever came back to Rome! Thank you!

Recently stayed here for 4 nights and did not want to leave! Room was so cosy, clean and spacious, and location is ideal as all the sights are within walking distance. The reception staff were extremely helpful on arrival giving me a map highlighting the routes to all the tourist attractions, and were very hospitable throughout my stay. I would definitely return to this hotel when next in Rome 🇮🇹

My family had the privilege of staying at the Hosianum Palace in Rome from June 29-July7, 2023 to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We had two rooms - one for my young adult kids and one for my husband and I. The central location was safe and very convenient for a first trip to Rome with family, allowing us to walk to almost every site we wanted to see. It was also an easy walk to delicious dinners. The hotel was quiet at night. It was very clean and comfortable. The best part of the hotel was the wonderful team. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful (thank you Alessandro for everything!). The breakfast was well stocked with a good variety and a welcoming, professional team (thank you Leonardo for taking such good care of us). The housekeeping team took excellent care of us as well, with prompt and attentive service. If we have the opportunity to come back to Rome, we hope to stay at Hosianum Palace again!

While the receptionist of this hotel was helpful with directions and the reception looked nice, once we stepped out of the elevator it became clear that this hotel did not meet the standards we expected. The carpet was filthy and stained and I was very careful to wear shoes at all times. The room was small, tired and very worn and the bathroom tiny. The bed had a sheet which was clean but also an old-fashioned blanket which I was unsure was cleaned for each guest. We had to ask for the air-conditioning to be put on and it was 34 degrees while we were there. The ac is only controllable from reception and is not strong enough. Water constantly flooded the bathroom when showering. The bed for our son was not fit for purpose and the mattress on our bed was very hard. All but one of the sockets in the room were blocked so we had to take turns charging our devices. The hotel is also on a narrow quiet alleyway and I wouldn't feel safe walking there alone. My recommendation is do not stay here, one of the worst places I have ever stayed, whether labelled a bed and breakfast or a hotel.
Response from Property: Dear Guest, we feel sorry about your bad review. Actually we know the probelm about the carpet , that's why in the 50 % of the room has been removed. We have two floor wiht marble on the corridor and wood on the room. We are planning to remove the carpet on the two remaining floor. Due to an exceptional and unexpected heat wave in Italy we had a bit of trouble getting the rooms cooler

Great quiet location. I had the single room which was fine. Very firm bed but nice and clean. Room was very well presented with a nice small bathroom with plenty of hot water. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Supermarket just around the corner as is historical sights. Prepare for lots of walking. Didn't use the bar but nice to go up and look at the roofs.
Response from Property: Dear Guest thank you for your nice review!
