A wonderful place to stay in Cape Town. Quiet, comfortable, private and hospitable. Judy and the team have a relaxed and natural accommodating style and are helpful without being intrusive. The large attractive house is elegantly furnished and the garden very attractive. The two pugs make the place extra homely. The breakfast is consistently delicious and nutritious. I'll definitely return when next I'm in Cape Town.

We loved our stay, our beds were so comfortable and our room had everything we needed, we felt so at ease and Judy was so friendly, allowing the kids to run around the garden. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, fresh crumpets - the kids highlight!

Super homely and comfortable place with great character. Amazing breakfast every day a real treat that made us feel super spoilt. Hosts were great - friendly and attentive. Central and safe location. Loved waking up to seeing Table Mountain every day.

The best guest house I have visited! Good location with a nice garden and a great pool. Beautiful flowers and a nice decoration everywhere. The rooms are comfortable with very good beds. Everything is clean and fresh. The staff are friendly and the food is fantastic. I will definitely come back.

Our stay at Hedge House was wonderful. Judy and her staff made us feel at home. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious with eggs cooked to order. We had everything we needed including a magnificent view of Table Mountain. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Property was in a fantastic location and the hosts were wonderful. One minor item was the lack of availability of an honor bar or bottled waters in the in room mini fridge.

A warm welcome from Shirley who was most helpful even before we arrived.
A great location in a quiet street and a short Uber into Newlands Village for restaurants and shops.There may be places to eat within walking distance but it happens we know Newlands Village well and so visited places we know.
A great breakfast every day with fresh fruit salad that was really fresh.
A major cricket series was on whil
e we were at Hedge House and the cricket ground is very close so a real bonus for cricket fans.
Great attention to detail in our room with fridge, microwave and crockery provided if you want to self-cater.
