Check in person was ok. Facilities were dirty…bags of trash in the hallway for hours. water all over the floors & elevator all day & all night. Never figured out was the water due to ppl in & out the pool. When we 1st arrived around 5pm we couldn’t use our jacuzzi due to no hot water. Tried 4 hours later & was successful. Jacuzzi was clean but the bathtub in the bathroom had paint chips and or dirt.

Okay stay cleaner hotel than most in the area. Busy for breakfast in the morning in the surrounding area. Overall satisfaction with stay and price.

The Tall man working the desk in the morning was extremely helpful and even helped me with my luggage to my car while the kids were doing some last minute swimming before check out. The kids LOVED the pool, Staff was friendly, housekeeping did a great job on our room while we stayed the whole weekend and made sure we always had clean towels. The complementary Breakfast was hot and very tasty and damn good coffee. When we visit Michigan to see family, Wingate will be the hotel we always will stay at.

Staff was very cold and rude. The “free breakfast” was supposed to start at 6:30… at 6:40 I asked why there was nothing there… the staff person said “it’s there” and walked away… there was maybe 3 bagels, a half jug of water … and nothing else

The room was dirty the jacuzzi in the room was dirty the bathtub was dirty I complained so they changed my room to another dirty room the water wouldn’t get hot I felt like I was in a trap

Booked a room with sofa sleeper they had no extra bedding available and only 2 towels no wash clothes. room was filthy. Hot tub broke down. Pool missing most its water and so much chlorine we all couldn’t even swim more than an hour.

I would never stay at this property again nor would I recommend anyone staying there. Plastic bag cover smoke detector in my room, I felt unsafe. Room wasn’t very clean. No cream cheese for bagels and served me expired by 20 day old yogurt. No towels for the pool.
