Villa Tehila - by V Club Chain

The place looks magical but the closer you get the more you realize that it is tired, run down and poorly maintained. Check in was unfriendly and nobody was available to show us to the room. The way to the room is dangerous with uneven stones especially when one is carrying a suitcase. Room is dark and the double bed is a full size, not even a queen. Bed cover was filthy, had not seen a washer in a long time. Small TV. We enjoyed the pool. Breakfast the next morning was poor especially when one knows the incredible breakfasts in Israel. There was a small lazy Susan on the table with butter, jam and a limited number of cheeses. A small menu lets you choose eggs. Only instant coffee was available at a self service table. When I asked about fresh coffee, the attendant agreed to make me a cup with an attitude. When my partner asked if he could have the same he was told that my coffee should be enough for two. Check-out was again unfriendly, no thank you and no questions asked about our stay.

This is a beautiful hotel. The outdoor areas are expansive and charming, and include a pool and jacuzzi, a garden and many seating areas. My room was very spacious, with a separate kitchenette, and had a lovely view. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only deficiency was that there was no iron to use.

We booked two nights at the beginning of September but stayed there 15 minutes. Everything was so unclean! There was no staff there but a husband of the manager. He showed us three rooms . But every next room was not cleaner than the previous one. This place could be nice and it was once but it needs to be maintained! Such a pity that the people who run it don't understand this. I hope they don't. I don't want to think that they just neglect their customers.

This is a very nicely kept, clean, family run B&B. If you want the Waldorf Astoria don't come here. The rooms are clean. The food is simple and fresh, and you are within walking distance of the old part of Rosh Pina. There is also a decent sized pool, a whirlpool, and a sauna on site. I heard that after 50 years of owning this place Tehila has recently sold it.....
