The room was not very good, the room was at the same level ... wooden board, non-functional TV and for the VMC ... it seems to be in panded. One single serviette and towel for 2 days, the household was not made before my arrival (the bathroom) and will not be made during my stay ... For breakfast ... ask what you want ... there is nothing in presentation! You need to ask if you want to grow etc ... and if the staff is available! Besides a very pleasant young lady, the rest of the staff had only to make customers. You must call the interphone, if you can get in, the parking is not monitored by video surveillance for the price.

The hotel is modern in decoration, the room is very large, the bed is fixed, and the bed is a large bed with two single beds. With a small induction cooker and sink, the bathroom space is also large. Good outlet for a weekend in Paris. Friendly staff, you will have a key to the parking garage to park your car. However, there are 21 places and you are asked to park in 1 of these places. However, these places are very tight. So well parking inside the line is a must. Rooms: small but fine. We were sitting on the street side hearing but before the window there is a electric roller lock that depletes the sound somewhat. I myself have been a light sleeper but haven't had any trouble with the sound from outside. Beds are OK for a few days. Breakfast: just not done. Certainly not worth €15. The environment gives enough room for a decent breakfast. - That's fine for a couple of days, Paris.

I had read a lot about the hotel, but I would like to calm the next guests: it is a accommodation at less than one minute from the RER A station, which connects in just 4 stops with the centre of Paris for a €1.90 ticket. Your breakfast (from 06.00 to 10.00 AM) is enough (cafe and tea machine, milk, cereals, some fruit and a cooking area and toast) and the reception equipment is friendly. Although the area looks dark, there is a five-minute shopping centre with a great Auchan and a Burger King, a McDonald and a Asian restaurant. You are relaxed well and at the price you have (especially with Paris prices) to have a comfortable bed, a acceptable bathroom and a breakfast to start the day deserves to be recognized as a good choice for the traveler who will only pass there to Rest and shower****.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. The staff is welcome and listening to you. The hotel is very clean and pleasant. You will find restaurants, bowling and an olympic pool with indoor and outdoor pool nearby. The hotel has a closed parking. The breakfast is complete and willing. In one way as the other you can make beautiful walks along the Marne.

In Paris you tend to get what you pay for so if you book a budget hotel, lower your expectations!! That said, this hotel was quite a pleasant surprise. When I got to my room it was very clean, with a comfy bed and basic looking shower that actually supplied plentiful hot water. The guys at reception were pleasant. They let me drop my bag off prior to check in and let me leave it for a bit after I checked out. For sure there is noise from the street but as a city girl, I was not bothered and it was not excessive. Because the floors are not carpeted (they have new looking lino type floors) the noise from someone upstairs who did not take their shoes off was much more distracting!! The stairs could do with a good scrub to be more aesthetically pleasing but as I wasn't sleeping on them I didn't care. Super close to the Metro at La Chappell and an easy walk to Gare de I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. All in all, much better than I expected and I would stay again
