We had booked this hotel as a an end to our holiday in France. The check in was the most unwelcoming I’ve ever had, no information about the hotel was given, the restaurant, spa and bar was closed. Our room was in a converted stable block, it was dark and dusty. There was a voss mineral water bottle in the room the seal was broken and the bottle top was dirty, this had clearly been refilled with tap water. We were told if we took the bottle from the room we would be charged €30!!! I didn’t even want to drink from that dirty bottle!! Mid afternoon the gardener started to burn laurel leaves, which smoked out the garden and our room. This smoky fire went on all night and in the morning we had puffy eyes and coughs from the smoke in our room. At this point we wanted to check out and cancel our 2nd night. The people who run this hotel seem to have little concern for their guests in our opinion. The lady on checkout was much more helpful and understood how bad our experience had been. She reduced the room rate and checked us out with an apology. Never again, despite its looks, it felt pretentious and unwelcoming.

Service client catastrophique. J'ai appelé ce jour, et pour la troisième fois maintenant en une semaine car il était convenu que la direction reviendrait vers moi, concernant une demande spéciale quant à une potentielle réservation. J'ai donc dû rappeler deux fois, dont une ce jour, et j'ai été très mal reçu par une jeune femme au téléphone qui n'a cesse de répéter des conditions que je connais, puisque je suis moi même dans l'hôtellerie. Aucune écoute n'a été faite quant à ma demande, et aucune remise en question de la frustration du client par la réceptionniste ce jour. "Calmez-vous" que l'on me dit. C'est inacceptable pour un hôtel, et encore moins 3 étoiles, de répondre de cette manière à un client qui, de plus, effectue une relance suite à votre inaction. En bref, passez votre chemin pour d'éventuelles réservations dans la région.

We spent one night at the Jardins d'Epicure after a dinner with a couple of friends at the hotel restaurant. The Indonesian suite is very good. The decoration is very nice, the bed comfortable and the bathroom well appointed with its large jacuzzi (two people without problem). Small downside, however, for the latter: the sink drain was partially blocked and that of the walk-in shower gave off a slightly unpleasant smell. Nocturnal trips to the toilet can be perilous without light: the bed is upstairs and you have to go down a small spiral staircase to reach the WC on the ground floor.

Hotel located in the heart of Vexin, home of the Impressionists. Charming and elegant residence in a magnificent park. Spacious room, renovated, nicely decorated and comfortable. Bathroom with spa. Reception perhaps a little cold.

The grounds are superb, the restaurant is magnificent. We chose the flavor menu, my wife and I taking a different dish to share and taste, and we enjoyed ourselves: the Haitian ceviche, the low temperature veal starter, the arctic char a treat, and the desserts on the menu (pear savarin and sublime chocolate and hazelnut dessert to end the meal). Healthy cuisine, with quality products, not very salty (which may lack flavor for some, but it is better to re-salt rather than have a dish that is too salty). Champagne and quality wines, the service is friendly and very pleasant, the staff smiling. The bad ratings sometimes posted in comments are surprising, you have to try to get your own idea but it's worth the detour. Prices consistent with the quality of the products, the presentation of the dishes, the location, and sufficient quantities (it's not an orgy on the plate, but starter main course dessert makes a very good meal in quantity). A real pleasure
