This booking was cancelled as the property has been sold. However they did recommend another place for us which we are thankful.

We only had one night here, but Lisa was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with ... we had the Annie Room which was tastefully decorated and had a great bed, clean and quiet. Shower in the ensuite was a little small but it was great water pressure and temperature. Continental breakfast was provided which was more than enough for us. We had a lovely stay here

As others have noted, Ross is pretty much a ghost town by 4 p.m., and there isn’t much open to begin with. Our room heated up pretty quickly, although the breakfast area was still cold 45 minutes after the heat was supposed to come on. “Breakfast” was about as basic as it can get—I’ve attached a pic of our breakfast for 4.

Lovely B&B in the middle of town. Appreciated that you had options for breakfast and that there was no set time - what you ordered was in the breakfast room fridge and your room table. The sitting room and breakfast room were very cold, there is a heater you can use, supposedly is on a timer but that didn't seem to be working while we were there. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Ross.

Stayed two nights here and one would have been enough. Very small room- nowhere to leave two suitcases open. Bathroom was tiny with minimal toiletries provided. Shower had little pressure and changed from hot to cold & visa versa in seconds. Breakfast was basic although they did accomodate dietary requirements. Breakfast room heating was almost non-existant. Heater was supposed to come on at 7.30am but we had to manually turn on each morning. Coffee and tea provisions were not replenished and when we requested some more, we got the impression it was too much of an effort. The house is in the main street and within walking distance of everything, however the town is dead after 3.30pm and there is only the pub to dine in at, (lovely meals though and make sure you book).

This accommodation is on the main street opposite the famous Ross Bakery. Our room was in one of the heritage homes, parking available on the street or off the street. We parked on the street as it's very quiet (the town was dead at 4pm on a Tuesday). The room was small but had everything we needed - a queen sized bed, 2 sitting chairs, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, very small bathroom, heating & pedestal but we didn't use either. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a communal sitting room and dining area where the complimentary continental breakfast provisions are left in the fridge for guests to DIY. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on what is served as we went across the road to the Ross Bakery for brekky. I think we were the only guests as we didn't see anyone else. Despite our bedroom being at the front of the house on the street it was very quiet as there was little traffic. We did hear a train a couple of times in the distance. Ross is a beautiful village with 180 years of Australian history. We had a lovely walk around for over an hour near sunset so the light was beautiful for photos. NOTE bring some dinner provisions as there isn't anything open after 6pm. There are a couple if takeaways so you have to eat early. Luckily we had some local wine and cheese so we enjoyed that in the alfresco area near the breakfast room.

The location was excellent, the bed was OK and the heaters worked well on a cold night. But some changes are needed. Wifi was advertised but did not work. Hopefully that was temporary. The fan in the bathroom came on with the light and was very, very loud at night when anyone used the toilet. The TV is tiny and positioned far beyond the foot of the bed, making it unusable for viewing in bed.
