What can I say about this place ! You have to visit The Driftwood in Rosses Point Co Sligo. It’s by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had staying anywhere. A boutique style property owned by a husband and wife team this place ticks all the boxes weather it’s the food your after which is superb or relaxation the Driftwood has it all. The rooms are decorated very tastefully all different themes and unbelievably comfortable beds. Some have free standing cast iron baths in the rooms with very good showers and if your lucky enough to get a front room a stunning sea view too. The food in the restaurant is top class also with a great a**osphere and stove lighting in winter months. Proprietor Paidi is also a chef and oversees all things food here. The bar is great also. The breakfast is amazing and cooked to order. This is definitely one to put on your list of places to stay. 10/10 to all the team in the Driftwood. Can’t wait to return.

Lovely seafront restaurant. Lovely menu with a range of specials. For starters we’d soup, scampi and cauliflower all of which were lovely. For the main I went for the special which was gnocchi with half lobster tail mussels and a scallop and was quite disappointed. Lobster tail was minute, one scallop and 5 mussels soo short on the seafood and the gnocchi was very stodgy (€30). Others enjoyed their mains which were cheaper than mine.

We spent a wonderful night with my husband at The Driftwood on our roadtrip around Ireland. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a nice sea view. We enjoyed the romantic a**osphere of the room with a bath tub. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. We had booked a table from the restaurant in advance and that seemed to be a good decision as the restaurant was quite busy. We enjoyed our dinner, it was very well made and tasty. The service was great as well. I was surprised that the service was so quick considering it was busy. My favorite part was the breakfast in the morning. I couldn't believe how delicious everything was and you got to order as much as you wanted. The coffee was amazing too with many options. I was blown away! The staff was very friendly as we checked out and allowed us to keep our car parked on their lot as we went for a lovely walk in the beautiful scenery before heading out. All the best from Finland!

Spacious room with interesting quirky decor. The breakfast menu was superb, the staff were helpful and friendly and our evening meal was excellent. The location is just across the road from the ocean, and walking distance to a lovely beach.

Everyone and everything about this property was great. A taxi brought me in from Sligo and only took cash ( I found out when I arrived), I found a woman who was working in the kitchen that gave me cash from her pocket (the tills weren't opened yet). The landlord came over, checked me in early, got me some extra cash, paid back the other woman, chatted, etc. The rooms were really beautifully designed, the food and the drink were great, and it was a lovely place to getaway for a day. I'd love to go back and visit.
