Let me store luggage on arrival day, then took it to room for me ready for when I checked in. Let me have late check out for no extra charge and stored luggage.

Cheap and not so cheerful. Pluses: reasonable bed, room clean but very dated. Abundant hot water. Fittings and fixtures very tired and in need of update. Pub over the road has good meals. Minuses Only one coat hanger in the wardrobe? No desk for laptop/work just barstools and a high counter not comfortable for extended work. Due to price and condition of the property and price it attracts clientele who aren’t terribly considerate of other guests. Drunken and aggressive shouting and swearing late at night. Noisy sitting outside rooms smoking at all hours. Cig smell outside rooms is unpleasant. There are much better options in other parts of Townsville just as inexpensive but far far nicer. Would not recommend or return intentionally.
