We were there for the first time and have already booked for the summer.
The child care is great, we had a hard time getting our daughter out.
The food in the restaurants was consistently delicious and the service staff were very professional.

Unser jüngster Aufenthalt im Hotel Hohe Düne war durchwachsen und hat unsere Erwartungen nicht vollständig erfüllt. Die malerische Lage des Hotels bleibt unbestritten beeindruckend, jedoch wurden mehrere Aspekte unserer Erfahrung getrübt. Zunächst war die fehlende Ausstattung wie Conditioner in unserer Suite überraschend und untypisch für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie. Die Suite lag direkt über der Bar, was abends zu erheblicher Lärmbelästigung führte – eine Herausforderung, insbesondere für Familien mit Kindern. Die festgesetzten Zeiten für das Frühstück und die Nutzung der Sauna waren ebenfalls problematisch. Das Frühstück endet bereits um 09:30 Uhr, gefolgt von einer unpraktischen Pause bis 10 Uhr, was mit hungrigen Kindern besonders schwierig zu managen ist. Die Sauna öffnet erst um 10 Uhr, was den Morgen für Frühaufsteher einschränkt. Zusätzlich haben wir eine spürbare Unzufriedenheit unter den Mitarbeitern wahrgenommen, was die Atmosphäre des Hotels beeinträchtigte. Als regelmäßige Gäste des Hotels Hohe Düne haben wir diese Stimmung bei früheren Besuchen nicht erlebt und fragen uns, was sich verändert hat. Insgesamt wünschen wir uns, dass das Management diese Punkte als Chance zur Verbesserung sieht, besonders in Bezug auf die Mitarbeiterzufriedenheit und die Anpassung der Servicezeiten. Positiv: Maritimer Flair und in allen Bereichen sehr freundliches Personal, Spa Bereich und auch Anwendungen, Frühstück wirklich außerordentlich. Sauberkeit. Negativ: Keine Chance kostenlos zu Parken bei € 19 pro Tag auf einem gewöhnlichen Außenstellplatz!!! Ohne Info beim Einchecken. Fähre nach Warnemünde € 7 mit 2 Personen und Fahrrad, also € 14 Gesamt. Preise insgesamt einfach zu hoch / Zimmer, Bars und Restaurants Fazit: Muss man wollen und sich leisten können.

das Hotel besticht durch seine Lage an der Hafenausfahrt, auch bei schlechten Wetter ist der Ausblick auf die großen Schiffe der Hammer :-) Top-Kinderbetreung und ausgezeichneter Wellnessbereich, mit der Fähre ist man schnell in der im Warnemünder Zentrum zum shoppen oder lecker Fisch essen
