The hotel is next to the Rostock Hbf, so it's super convenient for traveling around the city. However, like most people, I come to Rostock to go to Wandermune Strand, which is about 45 minutes by train and bus from the hotel. And the price for our room is 112 EUR plus 15 EUR city tax. For me, it's a bit expensive :D

There used to be a city ticket for local transport. Today you have to become a member somewhere. You used to be able to watch Sky Bundesliga. Today the screen remains black. Hotel is getting old.

The location is great as it is just next to Rostock main train station, and the hotel offer every guests free local transport pass, a nice gesture for visitors in town.
For area of improvement, I think the hotel should have evolve from traditional practice(strictly check-in after 2pm) and allow early arrival guests to check-in as long as room is available.

Wir sind dort Stammgäste und das kommt nicht von ungefähr. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und gut eingerichtet, tip top gepflegt, kein Grund, irgendetwas auszusetzen. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und kompetent, machbare Wünsche werden umgehend erfüllt. Nicht zu vergessen ist das Frühstück, nicht billig, aber es lohnt sich. Körnerbrötchen, Salate, Fisch, Wurst und Käse, alles was das Herz begehrt für den anschließenden Trip durch Rostock. Das beste ist aber.... das ÖPNV-Ticket. Ich sage das immer wieder, ein ausschlaggebender Grund, dieses Hotel zu buchen. Das Auto wird auf dem hoteleigenen Parkplatz abgestellt und bis zur Heimreise nicht bewegt. Die Mobilität sichert das ÖPNV Ticket, mit dem man 1. Klasse im gefühlten Min Takt nach Warnemünde fahren kann, dort die Fähre zur Hohen Düne nutzen kann, Möglichkeiten, die eine aufwendiges und kostspieliges Parken entbehrlich machen. Also, ein perfektes Konzept für einen stressfreien Urlaub

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmerwunsch wurde erfüllt. Das Frühstück war prima, haben auch glutenfreie Backwaren zum Frühstück bekommen. Was ich auch toll fand, war die viele Ablagefläche in der Dusche. Werden sicher noch mal wiederkommen. Vielen lieben Dank an das ganze, freundliche Team.
