Beautiful hotel, lovely room, great food and the best staff. What more can you ask for? My wife and I were there for my son's wedding, I have to say it could not be better, keep up the good work, the friendly staff made the whole experience special.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Hotel was nice and enjoyed looking through the owners whiskey collection. Room was nice and spacious with nice en-suite. Only issue with this was getting in and out shower as high step in and out . Nice they left water in fridge and milk as well , biscuits big soggy . Only a few minutes walk to local restaurants

I really enjoyed my couple of days here. The service was - for me - impeccable.. Both @ reception & in the restaurant The Breakfast menu is varied with both hot & cold options available. The cleanliness of my room was superb! Ideally situated as well....

I visited my sister in Elgin recently and wanted to treat her and a family friend to dinner on Saturday 25 May and we chose The Mansfield hotel restaurant. It was a disaster. My starter was just about eatable…..our mains, both filet and sirloin steaks were so bad we only had a couple of bites and that was enough. Our steaks were terrible, my filet was cremated, dry and uneatable. Veg looked as though it had come straight out of a plastic menu but obviously this was either boil in the bag or frozen/ microwaved. When we complained I was told the chef would be told but of course there was no sign of him …..even if he existed which I doubt. On leaving I was presented with a bill of over £200 and advised service was not included and there would be no reduction on our bill or any other compensatory gesture, in fact the waitresses were very nice and the only part of the dreadful experience which was good. Never again.

Really good stay in one of the apartments. I’d say the upstairs apartments feel more spacious than the ground floor. It was perfect for what we needed. The reason for the 5 star review is service. Fantastic service at the whole hotel and especially the restaurant team. Really accommodating and attentive. The apartments are cleaned and refreshed to a very high standard each day. Only thing I’d change - go for a bigger bed in such a big space and better pillows.

I got this booking for my wife as a surprise. We travelled by train and it was easy travel. Hotel on whole the staff was friendly hotel was good value for money . you got a repeat guest

We stayed in the 2 bed apartment which was perfect for the 4 of us. It was such a great space and felt nice to have your own living and kitchen areas to relax in. Beds were comfortable, apartment was spotless and we had all the facilities we needed for the stay. We stayed 2 nights and we were surprised but pleased that on night 2 our towels were changed and essentials (coffee, toiletries etc) were refreshed. Check in and out were both quick and easy, staff all lovely and friendly. Breakfast was spot on!! Really good Scottish breakfast. Set us up for the day. This was our first stay in Elgin and the hotel was recommended by a friend. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves in that area again. We had a family wedding outwith the hotel but next time we look forward to sitting in the bar at Mansefield and having dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately this time we didn’t have the time. Thanks for a lovely stay

Stayed at the Mansfield hotel for the first time as it was my husbands birthday. Beautiful hotel,excellent food and wonderful staff. Our room spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, great night sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning Highly recommend
