Great rooms great rain showers in the bathrooms, awesome pool & bar area, great food, nice staff & lovely owner. Good location near the center of town. Family friendly & awesome breakfast included. Our family really enjoy it at bambu in Battambang 🇰ðŸ‡ðŸ”¥ðŸ›º

Die Unterkunft selber ist wirklich sehr gut: sauber, schön eingerichtet, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der Besitzer war total freundlich. Das Frühstück fand ich etwas langweilig, etwas mehr Auswahl/ Abwechslung wäre toll. Die Qualität war aber sehr gut!
Einziges wirkliches Manko des Hotels ist die Lage. Etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum direkt neben einer Disko/Nachtclub. Dadurch war es nachts leider sehr laut. Trotz Ohrstöpseln war es leider sehr schwierig, einzuschlafen. Ich war allerdings über ein Wochenende in Battambang, es kann sein, dass es unter der Woche etwas ruhiger ist.

The reception staff upgraded our room without extra charge as I preferred not to be on the ground floor,thank you very much! The room is constructed in Khmer pattern, solid wood and well designed, with a large bathroom The whole hotel architecture is lovely with a beautiful garden and a clean pool. The bar has an extensive drinks list and the cooked breakfast is superb. We also had tasty, freshly made dinner twice and it was delicious, under the moonlight, with a view over the garden. The owner is involved and everything runs smoothly.

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti , unico punto dolente vicinissimo con una rumorosa discoteca vicina, abbiamo capito il problema quando abbiamo visto tappi per orecchie sul comodino. Noi abbiamo scelto camere al primo piano , belle ampie e comode con un armadio con specchio carino . Bagno comodo grande e pulito. Colazione familiare ma buona, buon ristorante. La piscina è situata nel cortile interno , circondata da una rigogliosa vegetazione ottima per relax dopo escursioni

The hotel is nice and the rooms are quite large. It was clean and offered everything needed (AC, fridge,...). The location is good as well. There's a mini market, restaurants and a gym just next door and the city center can be reached within 5 minutes (by Tuk Tuk). Also, the staff was very lovely and helpful. We however missed the "love for detail" a bit. The pool area and restaurant have great potential but would need a bit of renovation (dirty umbrellas, pool beds were partly broken). We felt the same during the breakfast. The selection was fine but the used productions were not fresh or nicely arranged on the plate. Overall, definitely a place to stay for 1 or 2 nights if you don't want something "super fancy".

We were recommended to stay here for our trip to Battambang and we were not disappointed. It was just perfect - beautiful, comfortable, relaxing and welcoming. We ate here a few times and it was delicious! A varied menu to suit everyone. Pat the proprietor was sociable and warm and looked after us brilliantly, as did his staff. We thoroughly recommend this wonderful place, in a great location to get to everything - Tuk tuks are easily arranged if required either through reception, PassApp or Grab - an app where you can arrange your own and often get a good / better price if you’re out and about.

We visited after a busy few days touring Siem Reap so found this hotel very relaxing and the bar very charming and welcome! The weather was against us in terms of enjoying the pool but a pretty backdrop to dinner and drinks. The service was excellent and the tiger beer on draft was especially pleasing for hubby. Room spacious and bathroom and shower great. Overall the best place to visit along with the bamboo train in Battenbang.
