Staybridge Suites Austin-Round Rock

Hands down the worst travel hotel experience we’ve ever had and that’s aging quite a bit since I travel for a living. We arrived on time for check-in, checked in and arrived at our room to find an entire family asleep in the beds for the room we were assigned. Went back downstairs and alerted the young woman at the front desk; no apology, no acknowledgement of the awkward situation, she wasn’t even surprised. She simply took back the key and handed us a different one. We get to the room and it’s in a sad state of disrepair; toilet doesn’t function (at all), the bathroom ceiling drips water constantly, the walls are horrifically water damaged and there is a massive hole (8 inches wide) in the middle of the bath tub that’s been patched with some kind of putty that is now moldy and cracked. We have five people in the room and we have two pillows and one sheet set. We called down for the appropriate number of bed sheets/pillows for the room and someone brings us ONE pillow and one flat sheet. We went downstairs to alert the staff of the issues as we were heading out for graduation and the my assured us they would fix the toilet and bring up sheets/pillows. We get back 6 hours later - nothing. We go downstairs and tell the staff for a THIRD time and the man at the desk says “well, we are housing tornado victims.” While admirable, it’s no excuse for not being able to support customers paying $200 a night. Don’t even get me started on the disaster that was breakfast. This entire experience was horrific and since the bathroom was a hot mess my children were too scared to even shower. We are cutting our trip short to go back home. This place needs to be shut down.

Stayed two nights- similar situation in both circumstances. Insufficient bedding (only had three of us in the room- second night, no extra sheet for couch so slept on a towel, as staff informed us laundry staff just “hadn’t gotten around to laundry today.” Single comforter blanket given had massive holes in it first night. Second night, given new blanket and some situation. Huge holes throughout. No soap by sink in the room. In past have stayed at Staybridge. Will not be doing so anymore. Spent around $170/night for this. Ridiculous that sufficient clean bedding and we had to use towels to cover couch, no soap, etc.

Great stay Quiet

There was no trash cans in the suite, the sofa cushions were full of trash but overall the bed was amazing so it was ok.

The guests next door were partying LOUDLY. I called the desk at 12:30 for help. No one came up. Called again at 2:30 am after two more hours of torture. Nothing. Finally at 3 am, my young child and I packed up and went down to the desk to get another room. I know the desk clerk never went up there because she was wrapped in a blanket. . This should’ve been taken care of at the FIRST COMPLAINT. It was very, very loud and if anyone has bothered to walk down the hall, the inconsiderate guests would have been removed instead of forcing a child and mother to relocate at 3 am. Would give zero stars for service if I could.

Mold around bathroom sink, and kitchen trash was not emptied from previous guests (it stunk so bad). Breakfast left alot to be desired. Otherwise, decent stay for price. Staff was nice. Bed comfortable.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with family. Staff was nice, breakfast was fine. The elevator was scary and would make loud creaking noises. We began to take the stairs to the 3rd floor instead. One of the bathrooms in our suite needed repairs as well. The bathroom faucet was coming loose as was one of the door jams. The lock on the hotel room door was also a problem. We had trouble unlocking it to leave the room each time we left.

Travelling with my 2 adult children and their partners. Booked a 2 bedroom suite with a sofa sleeper. When I pulled out the sleeper, there were crumbs under the cushions and no linens in the suite for the sleeper - had to obtain them from the front desk. The microwave was soiled and there were no teaspoons or table knives in the kitchen unit.

Do Not stay here! Not only was it over 90 degrees in the room but the air conditioning was broken and they would not give a refund. They also lied to ******* when I tried to explain the reason I was asking for a refund.
