This is advertised as being in grenwich but is nearer to maze hill ..bear that in mind if getting train there. Small point because GRENWICH is it not. It's in a dingy noisy polluted stretch of Trafalgar rd. The hotel is dark dimly lit and although clean feels Rin down and gloomy. No breakfast available no bar novredtarant and the Receptionist KHAN WAS RUDE AND ABRUPT. ..DO NOT STAY HERE.. STAY IN GRENWICH THIS IS NOT GRENWICH !!AVOID NEEDS A CHANGE OF MANAGEMENT

Small clean room. Good reception. Very friendly and helpful manager. 20 min walk to the O2. Very good selection of little local restaurants in the street nearby. Only a 7 minutes walk to Maze Hill railway station.

We recently had a last minute one night stay here whilst attending a football match at nearby Charlton. It is in a good location near to Maze Hill train station and within easy (about 15 minutes) walk from the Cutty Sark and Greenwich Park but on a busy road. On approach to the building we were fearing the worst as the outside of the building looks drab and tatty whilst the reception area and the stairway was little better. However, the manager could not have been more obliging allowing us to check in early and was happy for us to leave our bag in the room until mid-afternoon the following day so we could spend the morning seeing some of the sites. The room located at the back of the building was large, very clean and reasonably equipped if extremely hot with the heating on full blast. There were only one pillow each on the bed (there were others available from reception) and we would have preferred two each. Once we managed to regulate the temperature in the room we had a comfortable night's sleep and the shower was impressively powerful. However, despite the manager's best attempts to be as welcoming as possible and us hearing very little noise from the other guests at £169 a night it was over-priced and it was hard to get away from our first impressions. Whilst I wouldn't necessarily deter people from staying here I couldn't whole heartedly recommend it either.

Got here well before check in time but they held my bags for me no hassles. Check in was a breeze and the.staff couldn't do enough to make me comfortable. The room was nice, very clean and well laid out. The radiator heater worked nicely as did everything else. A larger bar fridge than most hotels of this level in the UK and very good value for money. Location was convenient - easy to find and ten minutes walk to a number of the main attractions of Greenwich. If you want to spend more than a day trip doing Greenwich this would be a good option. Plenty of nearby eating options too.

It was a hotel, with a 2 person bed, and all the facilities you need for a good stay. I would recommend! Nearly central, with many stores around the hotel. Easy to get with a cab and easy to go with the underground or bus.

DO NOT STAY! manager/Owner is very creepy, keeps asking me to go drinks, go into his office for a chat. I was very scared and made my stay very uncomfortable. Would not stay even if it was free. Everyone please avoid and should not be allowed to be open for business.

first of all locked out of 20 mins till the guy finally arrived to let us check in, no manners at all very rude lucky enough we only stayed in it for 30 mins then we had a gig at the 02 and when we came back we slept and ended up leaving at 7:45 am as we didn't feel comfortable as he was so creepy towards my 17 year old daughter when we arrived :(, just to top it off there was flee's in the room and the bathroom was disgusting with hairs in the sink and shower, due to wanting to get away early morning we ended up leaving my expensive aftershave and 2 original apple charges which the guy wouldn't even post for me eventually he said he will post them all if i left him a good review (he literally sent 1) and didn't send my other bits was so unhappy as they are not cheap and neither was my aftershave (yes my own fault) but i offered money for him to post them all he said is come back for them, not easy when im 7 hours away ! good location and cheap if i was you i would stay well away especially if you have children
