We could t fault the hotel. We stayed there on a night out in Leamington. The price was very reasonable. We didn’t expect much due to the cost but we were pleasantly surprised. Kettle tea/coffee in the room. Toiletries in the bathroom. Fluffy towels. Mattresses very old though. Springs had gone but can’t say we were too uncomfortable. Road not too noisy. It even included breakfast! Would definitely stay again.

arrived around 3pm and checked in at the bar as instructed I received a warm welcome and even had my case carried up the stairs (no lift). I was given room 3, a single which was more than adequate with large single bed (very comfy) separate bath tub and wc plus t & coffee- I was pleasantly surprised. The wall mounted tv worked efficiently, there was sufficient storage and hanging space for my two night needs & the t and milks were topped up as requested. brekky was adequate and I enjoyed my stay. The ten am check out was a bit of a problem on the second morning as my train wasn’t until noon (less than 5 minutes walk to the station). the bus to Stratford, Warwick and Coventry goes from round the corner and the town is 7 - 10 minutes walk across the river bridge and past the pump room. plenty of dining options. good value for money but more a boarding house than hotel. I would return

Love this hotel

Although the room was clean it looked and felt dirty and outdated. The interior was poorly kept, the matress was so tough, the noise outside was non stop, the bathroom had a constant tap dripping all night and the hotel placed towels down to try and stop the splashing. Breakfast was mediocre and the pub downstairs was like an old mans pub. Everything was out dated and poorly kept.

Pleasant one night stay. Some of the reviews I read seemed quite negative, so I was a bit concerned, but I enjoyed it. Cheap and cheerful! It is quite noisy with the bar downstairs and the road noise outside (I stayed on a Saturday night), but I had headphones in and that blocked out most noise. Wall between me and the next room was quite thin, and I could hear the TV. Slept well, shower was powerful and hot, nice sausage sandwich for breakfast - nothing special but perfectly adequate. Check-in instructions on booking email stressed the importance of phoning ahead and an online checking in - when I did phone they had no idea why I was doing so, basically you arrive and register at the bar. You will need some form of ID. Ultimately I would happily stay here again. It was convenient for the railway station and for a walk around the town centre - which I hope to see more of in daylight next time!

The hotel is not clearly marked but it is TJs bar. There are some awkward internal steps to be aware of and the mattresses certainly in our room were awful- you sunk more or less completely through the springs. The good thing was breakfast the next morning. It was ok for a one night stay but I wouldn’t say it was worth the £54 we paid.

It was good value for money and very clean but a very noisy area. And the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night with no explanation. Staff were lovely.

Great value, the service was good and the hotel was what you would expect for the price, but excellently located and free breakfast included. Well worth it if you're not expecting a luxury hotel. Only down point really was the loud pub below.

Basic great value hotel. Bed super comfy compared to some other hotels. Only let down by noise from other guests returning drunk in middle of night

Whilst I understand this is not an expensive establishment, its pretty basic and could use some 'tlc' The room (11) felt a bit damp, and the plaster is peeling off the wall ( see pic ) The vinyl in the bathroom is a trip hazard (photo) & i was left with someone else's half empty bottle of water.

The pleasant and friendly atmosphere didn't like all the stairs as was at the top
