Samrat Hotel & Resort

I paid almost same amount as 4 star hotel for one night stay but hotel was very poorly maintain. Rats are everywhere on property. food quality is very bad

We booked the expensive cottages for our stay which had a lawn / garden just outside it. The property is very big and they seem to be expanding. The place had a good view of Alaknanda river, they have a few adventure games (zip lining, air cycling, artificial rock climbing etc). The restaurant waiters are too busy to even look at you, no matter you follow them to whenever they go. They won't even serve you a cup of tea. The lady at the restaurant counter is just muted and have nothing to say if you tell her about your ordeal. she murmured "sab complain hi karte hain" The restaurant is full of flies, so the hygiene is gone for a toss. They should invest in a good fly killing machine. However, the tea and food was good. Cottages may have rat issues as I found my daughters bag bitten the next morning.

The maintenance and service at the hotel was not satisfactory. They had the provision of electric kettle in the room but was missing as these had been sent from all rooms to another place for a function. The intercom was not working properly. Calls made to Reception were not getting attended. The water jug was not clean. Bed sheets were not provided in the room.

Been Here on the Ocassion of Visiting Kedarnath,and stayed Here with Friends and Enjoyed the Stay very much. Room.no 310 the view was Excellent from from the Balcony The staff was very humble. If u are Visiting Kedarnath,then this is the best place for stay in between the Journey. Buffet also was very Delicious.
