No great as there are things that need to be addressed urgently at that hotel such as the quality and taste of the food and the electrical and plumbing facilities.

May 2024 DISGUSTING I arrived at Bahia Principe Luxury Resort, First, this place is far from luxury. I arrived at the lobby by bus, and the best thing I received was a cold eucalyptus towel. After being walked to our room, we entered a dark and gloomy old room just to turn on the light and see a broken power outlet, light fixture, and the representative only took a photo and apologized. There was dirty bedding with cigarettes burns in the comforter, mold in the shower and sink, paint peeling from the bath tub, and dirty towels. Photos Attached” I contacted guest services who stated they had no available rooms for us to move. After showing them photos they offered us housekeeping to clean. DID NOT HELP! And staff was nonchalant and rude I ask would they bring their family to a place like this and they stated “IF WE COULD AFFORD IT I STILL WOULD NOT” The maintenance came to the room to repair the broken fixture and it fell off upon his exit. They offered us another room a day before we departed which was a waste of time to move. In addition, We booked a tour and they did not arrive to pick us up after booking twice. We were advise after several calls that the bus had broken down, but no one made us aware. So we waited in the lobby continuously. They only apologized. Still no refund. They offered $75 for the gift shop because of the room inconvenience and ask us to sign a form not to sue. The resort FOOD was horrible, the place is not CLEAN, The service was mediocre and I will NOT return. I advise you to spend a little more money and BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!! This entire property is outdated and they only want your money. PRO- Beef patties in the Village are AMAZING. Separate enitity though they cost $4 each.. Must try!

This is a amazing hotel. The staff are a credit and everyone is welcoming. Entertainment team, personal trainer, waiters, waiteress, reception team, restaurant managers, housekeeping team, pool staff, night staff. The whole team exceeded expectations The food was better than expected with plenty of choice. Our room was lovely, surprisingly I slept well every night the bed was so comfortable. Usually I struggle to sleep on hoilday but this place was magical and I slept every night. I can not fault this hotel. I am booking again to come back next year. The other side of the hotel is just as nice but the luxury side is adults only which I prefer. Cleanliness throught 100%. Thank you for the memories, see you in 2025

Rooms were very nice in 17th block. Japanese restaurant was the best. Staff fantastic. The beaches were not the best. That was about the only downfall of the trip. Entertainment was okay. It really lacked in comparison to other all inclusives.

We recently stayed at the Luxury side of this hotel While it is set in beautiful surroundings and the rooms are quite well maintained this hotel was an absolute nightmare two weeks for my husband and myself who struggle with our mobility No rails on the hundreds of steps no ramps instead of stairs 30% of nights the lift didn’t work ! For the whole of our stay our balcony door didn’t lock although it was meant to have been fixed twice Bathroom and bedroom tiles were a death trap and were like ice when wet also the pool tiles were slippy too ! The food was very mediocre and the Jamaican food was a repeat every single night ! The entertainment was likened to frigging Butlins and the same people night after night Save your money and go to a smaller hotel not run by Spanish !!!!!!

The pools were wonderful. The beach options were not wonderful. The beach closest to the luxury side were not really useable to go into the water. The one beach where you could use the water (ocean), was a good 20 minute walk from the luxury side. Very disappointing.

Friendly staff, nice room with a great balcony. All inclusive had no limitations (even room service!) Pools were wonderful although the pool bar at our end was kind of dirty, I blame the partiers for that! Lots of entertainment day and night. Shows at night were amazing! Also, great options for entertainment, low key live music near the lobby, party near the pool bar, nightime shows were all ages and varied from drummers to dancers to a Bob Marley cover band, there was a magician one night that we did not go to but was probably great too! Beach was clean and not crowded at all, we had it all to ourselves a couple of times. Highly recommend! The only thing I could say bad about it is that it is an hour ride there from the airport, and after a long flight I wish it was closer, but obviously that was a choice we made!
