The hotel charged guests 50 GBP for checkout at 12:30! Despite bills paid in advance and notified front desk of leaving at noon time next day ！

Quite frankly, by day 2 we had fallen in love with the place, all staff on all sections were brilliant. All facilities were clean, well maintained and up to spec. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, 2 saunas, ice plunge pool, tennis courts, orchard and children's play area. There is also archery, bike hire and even boat hire so you can have a little trip on the river. We didn't do breakfast but there is a lovely little coffee bar with pastries and for the evening meal the main restaurant operates a buffet style with about 30 options so you could try a little bit of everything. The quality of the food was also very good. Finally I'll just mention that my partner enjoyed a couple of treatments at the spa and said her experience was superb. Thanks also to trip.com for offering an excellent room rate.

Stayed one night in a Superior Room Bedroom was very spacious and well decorated. Very large comfortable bed. Capsule type coffee machine but even with water boiled in kettle, the coffee machine still served cold coffee! Very good buffet style breakfast with lots of different choices and good quality; great service. Parts of the hotel are undergoing complete refurbishment and there is minor disruption.

It was amazing had breakfast which was great and catered for the vegans without making a fuss or waiting for it. The staff service was excellent, the location is amazing calming which is what I needed to get away from the busy lifestyle. Most importantly it’s not far for south London so it didn’t take long to get there or to come home, but enjoyed that country side feeling abs greenery. Enjoyed bring near the river, will come back.
The beds were very comfortable, bedding was good quality.
The spa was perfect, could do with some calming music when relaxing on the beds.

When we first arrived we found they had building work going on so it was not as nice looking from the outside as we thought. Once inside the Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout out stay. The food was excellent and the place was spotlessly clean. We will definitely return another day *****

Despite the refurbishment and building works going on the venue itself was okay. Bar service was good, staff were polite and courteous. The experience was spoilt by a very poor buffet meal in the restaurant. Awful selection of main courses, limited amount of vegetables and overall quality was terrible. However, breakfast was good.

Had a room overlooking the carpark, it was a 5ft double bed but small room, almost no space around the bed with a small bathroom with walk in shower no bath. Very limited hanging space in the wardrobe which was mostly occupied by the ironing board and the 2x robes. Went to visit the pool but it was pretty crowded so didn't use it. Lots of building work going on, which we were advised about in advance. Breakfast was OK, good choice. Had dinner in the restaurant, 3 courses of buffet. It was OK, plentiful, but certainly very average quality at £32 plus a 10% service charge ( this is strange as you have almost no service except for drinks????) would not have me rushing back. Most staff were good and friendly.
