The place was exactly what we wanted, very peaceful and quiet. We had a good time. No disturbance whatsoever. It was extremely cold but because they have electric blankets, bonfire and fire place set in case you want to use them… the best ✨ ohh and the host?? Very welcoming, we really felt at home. Thank you Joe.

The chalet was clean and kitted out perfectly, with just what we needed. The area is peaceful and close to a few places of interest. Our dog loved running around and meeting their dogs. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

the venue was amazing and so cozy the man who helped us showing everything was so sweet and helped us a lot he showed us how everything worked and was very nice and helpfull we totally recommend to stay there and will tell family and friends of the place

Everything was awesome. A little noise from the main road was evident. Joe is an interesting host that makes sure you are well llooked after. He has been all over the world and is interesting to chat to.

Absolutely wonderful. Perfectly nestled between trees, with a garden for you own use and privacy. We will definitely be returning soon with our pups!

We had a 3 night stay and had a lovely time. We stayed in the Oriole cottage and found it had everything we needed, It was very cozy Our Hosts Lorraine and Joe ensured that our needs were looked after We were met by a young collie and some pigs. The sunset and sunrise was beautiful everyday from where our cabin was. There is alot to do in the area Thank you for being pet friendly

We took our terminally ill 13 year old dog Kai with us for a break away. She had a trail to work in the beautiful forest on the property, joined us in the lobely pool close to our cabin and had her own safe and enclosed garden to enjoy with us while we braaied and relaxed with the sounds of nature. There were other doggies, pigs, goats and a koi pond. The cabin was cozy and had everything and more! A huge sunken bath to relax in and the staff cleaned out braai and bins daily. It was so relaxing we didn't want to leave at all! Planning our next visit already😂 the owners are stunning animal loving people and they are putting so much love into the place it really shows!

We stayed at Woodland Gardens on the weekend of the 2/01/26. We booked the Loerie Chalet as it was just two of us and our furbaby,Alpha. The service was excellent. John and Lorraine welcomed us. Alpha loved it as he had his own fenced up garden where he could explore. There are dogs,cats,pigs,goats and chickens on the premises. It is a peaceful place with lots of walking trails for your furbabies. It is self-catering with braai facilities and a swimming pool. The chalets are not close to each other. Excellent breakaway from city life. Reita
