The quality of this Bed and Breakfast is right at the top end, from the hosting by Christine, to the spaciousness, the quality of the furnishings too. Breakfast is at your leisure from 8am and prepared to order. It was very apparent to us that Christine enjoys her role as host and tells of local attractions and where or what to do. We enjoyed her company too when she was available. My wife's mobility restrictions were easily catered for, with an accessible bathroom and no steps to cope with in the home. All in all, the accommodation was probably the best we have stayed in Australia and internationally and as mentioned previously the hosting at the highest level. Fabulous property in a quiet area of Rutherglen. It is a great relaxing place and Chris made us and our dogs feel very welcome. Our accommodation was super clean and well appointed. We will definitely be back.

Lovely Modern Spacious Accommodation in Rutherglen
a really beautiful property on the outskirts of town, a lasting memory having breakfast on the terrace with the sounds and smells of the country air.

From booking to check out Christine was kind & helpful. Room was immaculately clean. Bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water in the spacious bathroom. Coffee & tea making facilities in room with plenty of milk included. Fantastic air conditioning. Delicious breakfast cooked by Christine was terrific too. Thank you. Overall, we cannot fault Barkly Suites. We will definitely be back. Rutherglen village & wineries were delightful. Highly recommend.

Had a one night stay at the Barkly Suites. Had a fantastic time. The room was very spacious and well appointed, and the breakfast was great. Our hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, giving us some very helpful tips. And all at a very reasonable price. We will look forward to going back again.

Lovely accommodation in the heart of Rutherglen. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Welcoming committee were their three dogs.
Room was large including a Lounge, bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast options were also broad.

The place was lovely clean comfortable Friendly Hosts Our Border Collie loved playing with the 3 Border Collies that live here We have booked to come back again Highly recommend for everyone whether you have a dig or not .

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Barkly suites. Quiet , lovely room , everything we could want was included, spotless ,beautiful gardens , Amazing breakfast. Our hosts Chris and Ian were fabulous . We will definitely be back. Thank you Tim and Chris

The apartments were spacious and well equipped. We were able to use the bbq to cook and sit out on the back deck to enjoy the evening. Chris was very friendly and helpful and cooked a great breakfast.
