This is an outstanding hotel. It is located across the street from the train station, but is incredibly quiet. The place is immaculate and the interior design is very well done. The hotel was remodeled in 2021 and it looks brand new. Staff was very attentive and fluent in English. The room was decent sized for a European hotel. We were able to leave our bags in the hotel after checking out so we could tour Dresden before taking a train out of town. It's one of the nicer hotels we've stayed at in recent years

A much better location of a hotel is hardly imaginable. Whoever stands in historical old towns is right there, because he is in the middle, right in the center. As regards the cleanliness and equipment of our room, there was nothing to defect, quite the opposite. All that you need is available. The breakfast booked is stored in the Italian restaurant next to it, but it does not stop all, since you have direct access from the hotel. The breakfast itself is very rich and for everyone certainly what it is. We booked the hotel for a night after a concert visit, which went until 22:30. At this time, it seems impossible to have a free seat in the many existing gastronomic facilities around the old market, because everything is occupied. I would have liked to have a sack in the hotel, but it is unfortunately impossible. But whoever doesn't necessarily make it on it, I can only recommend this hotel. What is also something sporty is when you travel with your own vehicle, the park search. But also there you will be helped at the reception, there are recommendations for parks nearby, where free capacity is also checked in the front desk.

10 minutes walk from Dresden Hauptbanhof and 15 minutes walk to Neumarktplatz. Big shopping mall next door and PragerStrasse has all kinds of shops and restaurants. All in all a great location. Our room was an unusual layout with a large foyer and even larger bedroom but with sp**** furniture. We liked it as we had plenty of room to spread out. All the staff we met were smiling and helpful.

My hotel room was HUGE. This was a phenomenal surprise, especially given the location. The Hotel is around the corner from a ton of excellent restaurants, and only a short short walk from the city center were one can find beautiful outdoor terraces with wonderful views of the city. Once construction in the market in front of the hotel is finished, I'm sure there will also be another excellent view on the doorstep. I will happily stay here again next time I need to be in Dresden.

Overall, an ok stay. The location is perfect; members of staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. From my point of view, 25 Euro for breakfast are fair considering the ample self-service area and the additional options to order egg etc. which are included. My only problem was that there was a very considerable smell coming from all sewers (shower, bidet, sink) in my bathroom. To be fair, they immediately sent someone up after my complaint, but housekeeping could not do much beyond spraying air freshener. The hotel also offered another room but I since I had unpacked everything before noticing and since I was not about to spend a lot of time in the bathroom anyway I declined. Though this is certainly a fundamental drainage issue, the hotel really tried hard to remedy the problem.

There were no terrible issues, but some details not expected in a 5-Star hotel: 1) We requested for a COT (baby bed), we had to ask for it 3 times. 2) 1st night, baby wet the sheets, we put them together with some towels for change. Cleaning team put new towels but REUSED the wet cot sheet. 3) Many hairs on the floor of the bathroom when we entered the room and spider web in the balcony. 4) The water in the bad in the garden has big living worms, we realized after our baby put his toes in the water. 5) Coffee machine in the room would be a great asset Breakfast is amazing, people is super kind, facilities are awesome, thanks! *** German translated ** Es gab keine schlimmen Probleme, aber einige Details, die man in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel nicht erwartet: 1) Wir baten um ein COT (Babybett), wir mussten dreimal danach fragen. 2) 1. We were in town for the Christmas markets which is one of Germany's best. Well, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay than here. The hotel opens directly upon the central square which is where one of the markets is located. The other major market is just a few steps further across the street. Unfortunately, we weren't given a view room and our room really didn't have a view, but it was comfortable with all the amenities you might expect. We were traveling by car so a big plus was the underground public garage with direct elevator access to the hotel.

We spent seven nights in Dorint Dresden for a private stay in Dresden. A major advantage of this hotel is its traffic-friendly location: the old town with its attractions is in a footing distance, the tram driving in Dresden at close distances holds almost outside the door. The hotel itself is not new, but the public areas make a well-treated impression and our standard room to the indoor courtyard on the second floor was clean, spacious and very quiet. Critically, the great offer of sauce and bakery products in Dresden and the surroundings was only extremely limited - backbrushes, cutting etc. were acceptable standard products as they exist everywhere, But with which you don't even get off. Damn. The high prices in the deep garage (17 Euros per day) criticized in other reviews can easily be handled with a 10 Euro cheaper parking behind the hotel. However, this price policy is incomprehensible. On the house policy of non-cleaning of rooms for sustainability reasons, note: The daily cleaning of rooms can be logged in at check-in - you are explicitly asked by the receptionist - that then works without any mistake. It is only strange that Dorint does not give incentives to refrain from cleaning - targeting a bad consciousness is rather contraproductive. Finally, the daily opening of the bar in a well-booked hotel should be obvious. The bar staff makes a great job. Overall, Dorint Dresden is very recommendable for a short stay, even if there and there is still ”air up”. We would come back.
