I've stayed in a few Quality Inns so thought I knew what I was in for, but I was wrong. Location is convenient to downtown and the convention center and parking is free, but those are the only upsides I can report. The room was the most unclean I have ever seen a hotel room, including 2 (small) blood smears in the bathroom, mold in the shower, and stains on the bed cover and walls. Bed was comfortable and sheets seemed clean, so can't complain there. Lots of visible paint chipping off the walls, poorly patched repair jobs. Breakfast was disappointing, even though I wasn't expecting much. There was no milk for the cereal, and the apple juice machine spit out a chunk that looked suspiciously like mold. At that point I decided to grab a banana and call it a day. Overall, I can't recommend staying here. If I was planning to stay in Sacramento another night I would have found alternate accommodations. However if the cleanliness improves I'd give it another try.
