The hotel staff were top of the line and the room was very clean and well appointed. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay!

Small issue with shower was attended to quickly by attentive front desk staff. Restaurant on site was clean and friendly with good choices of food / bar for travellers. A great location with shuttle for Sacramento airport.

The Hilton Garden Inn Natomas near the Sacramento Airport has become my home away from home during an ADA sign project I'm doing for the airport. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are so friendly and it comes across as real warmth. Their faces light up in recognition when I straggle in late at night after driving from Orange County, and they go out of their way to get me a room near the elevator. The room itself is comfortable and the bed and pillows very welcoming. If I have a criticism, it is that at my last visit, the quality of the breakfast buffet went down for me, since yogurt is the basis of my breakfast. The good quality normal size individual yogurts were replaced with tiny cups and no flavor choices. The fruit bowl also had fewer kinds of fruit. It would be nice if, in addition to the cooked food choices there were hard boiled eggs. For the first time, we also ordered something for our evening meal from the restaurant, and the small plate choices were enticing and tasty. Another plus, since I have an electric car, is that I can charge it the night before I leave, so I start my trip with a "full tank"and don't have to make as many charging stops on the way home. If you do need to use the airport shuttle, you don't have to wait for a schedule. You just ask and the driver appears and off you go. All in all, although it's a bit more than some of the other nearby choices, it is worth a few extra dollars.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Sac Natomas for two nights. The front desk staff was friendly (which is much better than most hotel experiences these days), the lobby was inviting, the room was clean and the hotel was quiet. All important things you look for in a hotel. My three-star rating is due to the inability to accommodate guests' needs for a late checkout. I fully understand that not all hotels can do this, but as a Hilton Gold member it is one of the perks "if available". NOT ONCE in all of my Hilton hotel stays has this request been accommodated. Not once! If hotels can't do it, don't advertise that it's part of the perks. I requested a 1pm checkout, which is two hours after normal checkout, and it was super important given the sporting event schedule that my daughter was attending that day. When I spoke to the front desk staff on Sunday morning, I was told that they had the lightest staff levels on Sundays and it was not do-able. I saw the cleaning staff in rooms past 3:30pm on Saturday, so I"m really not sure why they don't staff appropriately on Sundays. I even asked to pay extra for the hotel's inconvenience or leave a really nice tip for the cleaning staff. I was told that if I left past 12:00, I'd have to pay for an entire day. All the Marriott hotels in the area where the other families from our sporting event were staying got free 2 or 3pm checkout times. Sorry, we won't be returning.

Great hotel, very clean, up to date, and big rooms with lots of storage. Definitely would stay here again. Staff friendly.
